Thats why i prefer cooking over baking. In cooking you can switch it up with what you got but baking you need the exact amounts of the ingredients to properly make it.

@@StrangeNative69 You don't need to be that exact unless you are baking professionally. Bread is very forgiving once you have a feeling for the dough. Just bake and enjoy what you make, learn from the dough and you can not go wrong.

I've been trying to recreate or find this since i was a kid! any chance that first recipe is more popular in Mexico City?

The moment I tried salsa de guacamole my life was changed forever. I normally don't like a standard guacamole, I think I just haven't had the right one, but suddenly blending it with other elements, like the tartness of a tomatillo just transforms it into something that I cannot walk away from.

What I'd really REALLY like to see you make is Restaurant style Texmex CHILE CON QUESO!!! I MEAN THE GOOD STUFF ya get at a Texmex Restaurant. I'm in South Texas. We have texmex Restaurants practically on every street corner. I've been going to the same one now for about 20 years. Though they know me as a frequent customer, I still can't get them to tell me how they make theirs. It's freaking addictive. Is this some sort of secret 🤔 I know these Restaurants can't all be using Velveeta as their primary cheese source. Please, do a video on making some Chile Con Queso....

Damn I miss Texas! Plano was a town that looked like Dodge City when I was brought there. The grocery store where we shopped had wood floors! TI was a GOAL! 10,000 people were needed to support the effort to defeat the Yellow Scourge into Viet Nam. My Dad got a job there, JR Dunkin built our house in a cotton field there, along with thousands more. I have been loving the food of the South every sense. At least once a month we would all load up and drive to Dallas to El Chicos for Sunday dinner. Momma and her sons welcomed us like family. Momma took my mother to the back a couple of times for so long that my dad had to ask Carlos to fetch her back, LOL , Yeah I LOVE Mexican food. Always have, always will.

Arnie, ya know how KZbin is. Start out looking for one thing, and hour later your watching baby giraffes! Lived in NorCal between Sacramento and Redding my whole life. The second I tasted mexican food in high school (going out to eat,) hooked for life! I really couldn't cook anything well but taco's, biscuits and gravy (grandma, bless her) and in the late 80's. Chicken Cordon Gold. Being born in 1932, post depression, her family struggled to put food on the table at all, like all of America. I have rocked out 3 hour, 1 gallon salsas since the mid 80's. Fed the hood, the dentist, friends. (small town living.) Red hot sauce, (scald your lips off, cause that's how I like it) after I retired in 2008. My mission, LEARN how to cook! Never, ever have I cooked any of it 😮. This was me tonight watching all your red and green hot sauces! Last couple days I decided to add vinegar, meh, 2T to 1 1/2 qt. I use now Yahulalica instead of Chile de Arbol. For me, just dig the flavor. I hovered over your roja and verde videos. Pause, type... I can't wait to try it your way! I can't believe myself, I still have Jalapeno, Serrano and Cayanne peppers growing! Atmospheric river, freezing temps (I did cover them) picked a large Abolone shell full of them yesterday! What luck to have found you today! :D I do have an important question please. My hunt this evening was for a red enchilada sauce Abuela style. 1979, my bff worked with Miss Carman. Turns out, we were in the same grade as her son. She was talking to Sue about enchiladas. Cooked with chicken schmaltz and feet. At 19 we were horrified! Now, I don't cook my homemade broth w/out chicken feet. It lends that unctuous flavor from the cartilage. Would it be okay if you check with you're "cute as a bug's ear Mama", and see if this rings a bell? 64 yrs old now. I can take it. LOL! Bless you 💟 Moving onto your pinto beans now. Yay!
