The fact that you were like "hey, no pressure, I'm not asking you to host or to even let us in the door. I'm not even the one delivering it, so we'll leave it at your doorstep. I just want you to be fed and have ONE evening where you don't have to think about dinner." I LOVE this. As someone who gets extreme anxiety with hosting, especially post partum (I can't imagine having twins), I would be so incredibly thankful for the gesture.

Kim, I need you to know something. I'm from the UK and over here, only the mega, mega rich can afford big houses so I have quite a small house with NO storage which makes it so hard to keep things today. Anyway, shut up Colin... Get to the point!! OK, so I've been struggling for about 5 years with my mental health and a big part of that is that I can't stand mess and chaos and my house is so untidy. I've cried at night because I don't know where to start. I can't take that first step and I certainly can't be cheerful when I do it. I wanted to reach out and tell you that since I found your channel, I've started to tidy. Today I did my kitchen and bedroom and I'm so proud but it's because of you. I'm so grateful to you and you're my hero, my inspiration and my motivation. Thank you so much for what you have done for me. I'm here for every single video and I hope I can become just 10% of the person you are! Loads and loads of love from the UK xxx

I had to pause you and go down and get my coffee. This is how I start my Saturday by putting some happy in my day. My daughter is expecting number 7. Her oldest was here yesterday watching your video with me bc she thinks you’re hilarious. She’s so excited you are having another baby. She told me that she’s not getting married and having babies. She said she’s going to have a bunny farm and raise bunnies. It cracked me up bc she still seems to be following mommy’s footsteps bc we all know how those bunnies reproduce.

I love all their personalities so much. Congrats to your daughter - enjoy that new grandbaby!

@@aimeelangan1625 Honestly in this economy, that might be a wise choice 😂 your kids sound adorable, definitely planning a fun future lol. My husband and I aren’t sure how many kids we want yet (we have a 15 month old, and I just found out I’m pregnant with another). But we’re planning to build several tiny homes instead of one larger home, that way our kids can live on our property and have housing stability. I feel a lot of instability coming up in the next 50 years or so, gotta keep my babies near. Generational living is the way of the past and the future 👍 more balanced workloads and more hands to help with kids/elderly people/pets/chores. I’m also planning to split the land with my mom, so she can have her house-bus or a tiny home near her grandkids ☺️. Would also make me feel much better as she gets older. She has a lot of weird allergies and is small, so I worry about her getting sick or something and not being checked on.

My mother would line dry a few times a week. Being the older daughter...wait...being the ONLY daughter...I learned early. She would put the heavy things on the ends, this way if the line goes low, the clothing won't touch the ground too much but if the heavy things are on the ends, it won't be too much weight in the middle to pull everything too low.

IDK what it is about clothes that you hang-dry but they smell so heavenly, and it's not the detergent or the fabric softener. It's great. We use a sort of plastic coated washing line here in the EU. Kim here is the best (legit Mexican) beans recipe you'll ever find. Take your bag of dry pinto or black beans, check them for little rocks, rinse them, then out them in a crockpot with a bunch of water, at least half an onion, garlic (not powder), salon goya (flavor packet in Mexican food section), and the secret ingredient: at least a tbsp of bacon grease or more for 2+lbs of beans. When you cook bacon just save the grease in a container in the fridge. You won't ever have beans any other way. Another way I've seen it made is with the onion and garlic and cutting actual raw bacon into the crockpot, at least half a pack of bacon up to a full pack of bacon if you're making a lot of beans. Beans freeze great so you can portion out a family size side portion and not have to worry about cooking it for your next meal. Keep in the crockpot at least 6 hours or until soft. My crockpot is old so I keep it there all day, 10+ hours :)

Always enjoy watching your videos! For the beans, Cook black beans with a some cilantro, some onion and a jalapeño, you don’t have to chopped them just toss it in there. Basically you just want the the flavors to blend while it’s cooking. The amount of onion depends on what low much your making I say add about a 1/4 of it if you want to sauté the onion in about 1/2-1 cup of oil and add that to your beans it just adds so much more flavor! add cumin, salt and pepper a bit of chili powder. Note: you can take off the seeds of the jalapeño but if keep them it will add that small hint of spice. For refried beans just blend/ mash together once it’s done cooking. Anyways I hope you give them a try and that you enjoy ! My brother doesn’t like beans but when I make them like this he will eat them.

DEFINITELY BUYING ONE OF THOSE BISSEL CROSS WAVES!!! I NEED QUICK AND EASY BEING DISABLED. Now, if I could get a washer/dryer up here on the main floor...now, laundry is in basement and I can't use stairs.

Kim you need a prop!!! You need a piece of wood or pole of some description to put in the middle of your line to hold the clothes up, trust me in Ireland it's the norm🤣 - Oh how I wish I had your space AND the weather lol. You are doing an amazing job, you actually give me hope that "I'll get to it myself!" - Looking forward to the next one x

Add a capful of vinegar to those beans. It's amazing what a dash of vinegar will do for so many recipes! The acidity helps balance other heavy flavors.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but battery daddy for best battery storage. And I used to see how much I could do during commercials too! Plus from your last video, sorting detailed things. My fav! Have my husband on buying a crosswave... we've been on the fence, but no longer...

Oh my gosh I used to do the advert break cleaning, long before sky TV and pause buttons. It's amazing what you can get done. Soak pans then go back to them after 10 minutes and wipe clean and get a drink and a snack. I think now in the UK you get more adverts than movie. Ha😂😂😂😂😂😂

I literally chuckle every time you say "it's fine" then you crack the joke that you're cleaning the fridge with the rag that you cleaned the toilet with and I'm thinking, oh it's fine! 😂😂😂😂

A tip for drying line. We have just a random wooden stick, that has a y on top and is a bit longer than an average human. We push the clothing line up from the middle with it and leave the stick there until clothes are taken off.

Bet your neighbors loved the Mexican dinner you created for them. The Oreo cookie bars looked awesome, too! You have such a kind, generous heart!

Love your videos so much as always the highlight of my KZbin subscription box. I grew up with a single line for air drying clothes outside. To get height when the line got heavy we always had a long wooden pole on the ground the you can prop the line up with. Put it on a tilt and prop up the line. I promise it works!
