A fun idea…we had a pool when my sons were teenagers and we put up a clothes line…they were required to throw their towels and swim shorts over the line when they got out…then when they jumped back in later it would be dry. All the neighborhood kids swam too and that was really the only request. Throw your towel over the line when you leave.

Had to comment about the running water, I and my husband both cannot stand wasting water. If we have to run water to get it hot we collect it in buckets and throw it on plants, in the washer, outside on the grass or shrubs. We live in an area where a lot of people have to go to town and fill up large water tanks cuz they can’t dig wells on their property. Luckily we and a few neighbors share a natural spring and have it piped to our homes.

@@santaorlando6655 1 stick butter 2 eggs 1/3c Greek yogurt 2c(about 4 bananas) mashed 1teaspoon vanilla 2c flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4c brown sugar 1) Cream sugar and butter 2) Add eggs, one at a time, mix 3) Add Greek yogurt, mix 4) Add bananas & vanilla, mix 5) Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl and gradually add to wet ingredients. 6) Mix just until blended, try not to over mix. Bake at 350°F for about an hour, cover with foil after the first 30 minutes. Hope this is helpful :)

Oooooh first of all I'm so glad you decided to stick around and hang out with me, outside of Target!! secondly, the instant pot seizes to mistify me. I NEVER get the timing right and feel like I always have to check it and cook it longer lol - this pork I did the 'slow cooker' setting for two and a half hours, then it wasn't done (but remember it started completely frozen) then I did pressure cook on high for 20 more minutes and it was perfection! :) - I find it's always a guessing game with the instant pot and timing / settings! that's probably why I don't use it a lot!

I made a book first, then found a file rack in the pantry worked best for me. I can just put them in the folder and pull the whole section out when needing a recipe. I do use protective sheets so I can wipe clean. Works great and I love not have the big book to deal with.

Hi Kim I'm so glad you are feeling better. To answer your question, running water drives me nut! My husband and I live on a mountain top in Tn and water is in short supply for us. We have to be very careful or we will run out of water and have to wait for the well to refill. I am always cringing at people on tv who just let their water run. LOL People take for granted that there will always be water when you turn on the faucet. Love your videos and your sweet family. Can't wait to watch you progress thru your pregnancy.

I can totally relate to when you were talking about how it was like you had the flu for months, when I was pregnant with my 5th it was like that for me, I had been sick and then once I finally got it all together in the last two months of my pregnancy i was put on strict bedrest and had to take medications to keep baby from being premature, it beat me up and wore me down so badly, I had to hire a cleaning lady to help me out but she would just tidy things up and now my baby is 4 months old and was born at 38 weeks (thank god) I am STILL trying to get my life back together, its crazy how life keeps going no matter how tired busy etc.. You are!!

Sarah, the hardest part of being a mum (especially with a new little one) is giving ourselves grace when we need it. You're still recovering from what sounds like a pretty rough pregnancy so I hope you're giving yourself a pat on the back no matter what gets left undone. One of my fav sayings when mine were babies was 'cleaning house while your kids are growing, is like shovelling snow, while it's still snowing! x

You can sear in the instant pot on the saute button. Just add a bit of oil and wait till it heats up and then u can sear then add ur liquids and pressure cook. So nice that ur energy level is coming back. Always a joy to watch ur videos. I'm so with u even if it's just before I get in my bed I have to make it first I can't get into a disheveled bed. Not that it happens very often but there have been a few occasions over the years.

I’ve first found your last birthing video and then everything else! I’m 7.5 months pregnant and have been on bed rest - so I watch EVERYTHING and let the chores pile up- I can delegate and cheer on the husband and daughter lol they’ve come so far in 7.5 months lol. Good Morning Kim, When I am brushing my teeth, I turn the water off, when I am washing dishes, I think I leave it running but I could be wrong.
