I have this game for several years and play it every evening.

Excellent, excellent!!! It's always good when you expose new games to the board games community, but it never hurts to pull out one that's been out and about for a while, and you sure picked a good one with Around The World..! I've actually looked at this game a few times on Ebay, etc. but couldn't make up my mind about it, but having seen it here, I now know it's one I'd definitely enjoy, so thanks for clarifying that for me.

I aspire to be as good at rules explanation as Dave. Dude is soo good at it. Probably half the reason I watch game night.

This game looks super simple yet extremely fun. DAVE as ALWAYS has convinced me to seek out and buy this game because of his amazing thorough rules explanation. I easily understood everything and can digest to make the people I play/teach board games to understand when I teach/play this game with them.

I do wonder how much editing is involved. But yeah, for many of us you could edit it all you want and it would still end up being a mess.

andagainification there is little editing of the rules explanation unless we have a question that Dave, Rusty or Aaron do not know the answer to. They really are great rules explainers. Thanks for the note and for watching -Lincoln

At 15:30, I believe his question is if there are 2 trains to get from A to B and you Balloon one of them(Lets say a 3 and a 6, you balloon the 6), and you roll a 3, does that cost 6 or 3? I think it would cost 3.
@tribalguy24 жыл бұрын
Frank Rodriguez It would cost 6. The balloon is not a train, so you have to count both.

Just a signal boost for those who catch it in time. Since Tabletop Day kind of got sprung on us this year, Loading Ready Run will be holding a Twitch stream this Saturday, July 27 starting at 12 Pacific time. Games to include Fireball Island, AtmosFear, Cosmic Encounter, Betrayal Legacy, Hero Quest, and Cards Against Humanity. Loading Ready Run are a group of Canadian gamer/geek/comedians who are possibly best known for the annual Desert Bus for Hope charity marathon.

Is this game getting a reprint? Otherwise, what's the point in playing a game out-of-print, rare, and skyrocketing in price in aftermarket?
@davidarnott60855 жыл бұрын
I don't pick the games we play... but my thoughts: One reason is that we like it. The fact that it's out-of-print is why there *should* be videos of it, IMO - how you gonna see it/know about it otherwise? And there are currently 2 used copies on the Geek for ~$35, which seems rather reasonable to me. While out-of-print, I'm not sure I'd call this game "rare." Even though we like it, it only rates a 6.6, so there are likely people who would happily part company with their copy for trade or cash.
