The ISV is definitely one of the best sci fi ship designs. So realistic
@elfhighmage82406 ай бұрын
The outboard radiators concept is amazing. Most people though those were solar panels, but no. Those were made to bleed out the inside radiation heat from machines, people, etc. The ship is also modular. The reactor and hydrogen plants are kept as far away from the crew compartments. Cost effective and practical, but not in a combat sense. Still, I'm with you dude.

@peterbenedet83212 жыл бұрын
Actually those are just vapour cones. A common misconception is that they form when when vehicles break the sound barrier, but it’s actually due to a drop in pressure near the wings and nose of the vehicle. Because the dew point, (the temperature at which water in the air becomes a liquid) is lower on Pandora, and also a high percentage of humidity in the air, vapour cones can be easily spotted on the Valkyrie shuttle as it flies.

100% The closest to the style of James Horner might be Alan Silvestri. I understand Cameron is a loyal filmmaker and likes to bring back the people he enjoyed working with. So with Franglen doing the synths in the first film, I guess Cameron felt he was the best pick. I think it’s not too late to bring Alan Silkvestri aboard and have Simon Franglen assist since he’s two films familiar in the Avatar world.

Maybe irony maybe not, I'm not sure, but seeing Avatar '09 was one of the things that convinced me we should stay on Earth. Send probes to study and see what other worlds in our home system are like, but that Earth is our home and we belong to this world. So yes, remain here. I love my forest. I love my native foods. I love Gaia. I'm happy to never leave here. And if we die together with her... that's fine. We will have lived well, happy and in our own home, rather than living as ethernal exiles in sterile metal boxes clinging to an alien piece of airless, frozen, toxic red desert. That is not life.
