Congrats on 208 mph run,I'm curious do you guys that do speed runs,do you balance your wheels?

Thank you! Up until now i did not. But i have noticed that not all 4 wheel wear down evenly. So now i am looking for a afortable tire trimmer/treuer and a balancing setup. The trimmer makes the tire round again and after that i will balance it. I have been experimenting to put my tire on a real big size laithe but i did not have the correct trimming tool or the rpm's was to low or both. Its a 45year old machine...

Zeker, zeker :D Ik hoopte dit keer ook rond de 220 uit te komen. 2 runs terug met mn diff problemen en vorige week met mn motorkabels die los kwamen tijdens mn 200kmpu run had ik er nu wel een beetje schrik in. Met alle aanpassingen aan de wagen icm mn langzame start had ik ditmaal volledige controle over de auto maar accelereerde ik te langzaam. Nadat de wagen me passeerde was die nog aan het accelereren maar ik moest stoppen voor de rotonde.... :P De volgende keer ga ik voor een iets vlottere start en hoop ik dichter bij de 220 te komen!

Thank you!! I am really happy with the result and i hope next time i will come a bit closer to that 220 mark. I had some trouble running a few weeks ago with my diffs, after that i lost a motorwire connection during my run. But this run i was all in control and next time i can push it a bit harder :D

Nice run man! Such a good feeling when the run goes well and the car comes back for a PB. Used to do speed runs but finding good wide straight roads with no traffic was tough and eventually gave up. Cheers!

Thank you!! I am really happy with the result! I deliberetly took a (extra) slow start to keep it straight. But i was all out of road to go faster. It accelerated way beyond after it passed me. I had to brake and in the end i had trouble seeing it.

@@remborc to make the car less sensitive when steering, before you start your run do you turn dual rate down a good bit ? As that would make it easier to steer as less sensitive to input

I have to check "dual rate" setting.(dont know what it is) But wenn running i set the endpoint of how far it can steer a good bit shorter so that it doesnt make any sharp turns.

@@remborc that’s pretty much your dual point, you should set it less when running foams, it would be testing to see if it makes it easier for you 👍

Ah ok, if thats dual point than i use that. When driving to the startpoint i have it at 60% above it, it just turns to fast.. And when i run it is at 20% The 2 problems i had with my failed attempted runs a few weeks ago was that i had empty diffs... i checked the whole car but not the diffs... and the pumch control was set at 0% and the startup power was at medium. Thus the car was getting to much power at low speeds and it starts to pull and there was nothing i could do about it. With my 200kmph run i was batteling the car to keep it straigt. But with my 208 run i was in control again. And the earplugs really help! i checked the diffs afterwards and they are still locked.
