Once you cut the arrogant person off they will send (the ENABLERS) to TRY and “straighten you out” and say that YOU are “WRONG” for not talking to “so and so”. The enablers demand that you make amends with the arrogant person. They done lost their mind and I’m not going to help them find it.

True forgiveness predates mainstream religion. Jesus had a problem with religious people too. Take your energy back and focus it on yourself, they will feel the loss. You can forgive (to release your attachment while you go true no contact and stay silent). Never forget. Don't be abused. I know what Tyler means though and he is also right in his meaning, don't be a fool in taking back the same person...you know a snake (a liar, deciver) by its scales, but you see a lamb (a truly sorry person) by their actions. Amen🙏

I'm not saying to ditch your friend.... But you might be like myself eventually and just get so tired of it that you just pulled the plug without even planning it while they're putting on their good face once again once they pull their crap. Good information. Some people are just hard to be around for long. Sometimes it's the small things where you can tell that the person is not really for you, friend or boyfriend. Eg. Their mannerisms, not really having a good conversation as they seem to differ or drift away. Body language and even their own words. I'm very observant and can be a serious person. I hate it when someone doesn't listen and ignores what I'm saying. It's so rude, a nonstarter for me. Glad I moved out of that friendship. The person apologised when I explained how I felt about everything. I forgave but I m gone anyway. So no chance of a repeat. It's not only their words that confirm who they are but also their body language and actions. When people show you who they are, believe them.

Until someone make right and also apologize from the heart with more than the just one apologetic word I do not forgive and never will. Forgiving without someone making right usually backfires in your face. I actually prefer to forgive once i get the feeling they got karma, because most people knew they were doing you wrong and just didn't care and is hoping they never be made to hit the road unless they made right.

Calling someone "immature" is belittling someone, and part of using their power trip. Really they feel so small inside they have to tare someone else down to make themselves feel superior. Why even have these people in my life? No matter what, you have the right to say No, to leave the situation and go No Contact (if possible), or at least bare minimal contact. Even if they happen to be a therapist, doctor, social worker, or other professional working for you, you have the right to fire them.
