Aliens arcade 2 player Netplay

Best viewed in 1080p60. I'm player 1 and Mark is player 2. This game does not run at 60 fps despite the fact that I recorded it at that frame rate.

I just bought a pandora saga console a few weeks back, and this is one of the many games on it. It must have been 30 years since I'd last played it, and it was awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a beautiful looking game.

The idea was to stop the aliens from cutting the elevator line and the 3 cables represent 3 chances to do that side mission. I got to admire that visual language to truly survive in the elevator without losing a lifestock.

I think that I wanted player 2 to pick it up, but when he wasn't doing that, I jumped off the left to grab it, but then player 2 scrolled it offscreen. There definitely wasn't a reason to avoid picking it up.

Netplay here was done with MAME++. I don't exactly have "proof" myself, but it's not very difficult to verify that this is something you can do. If you type in KZbin "MAME Plus Plus online", you should be able to find a video showing how it's done.
