No offense to any pro player, however, its time to adopt and amend the tournament rules with a new standard set of rules. What FGC is neglecting and NOT taking seriously is that cheating tools exist, and they are now quite advanced. Its high time, and it should be compulsory to check the player's equipment (joysticks, pads or hitbox) because, cheating (scripts) tools can be uploaded to PS5/PC via plugging in any USB devices, and then it works according to the cheating configurations. Therefore, before coming to the stage for a match, the player's equipment must be tested and checked. This is a big concern, and it should be discussed until it becomes a regulation.

I didn't think it was shocking. I think Ulsan is as good as Atif. Skill wise they are both top players, but I also think that they both suffer from nerves when it's the last like grand finals. However, Ulsan is just less nervous, especially when he wins the first game... he just rides the momentum and Atif is defeated mentally. I think if the momentum was first with Atif, he would've won this straight as well.

Atif went on Autopilot simple as that. He relied too much on Dragunov Op moves and when they got beat by Ulsans perfect defence and Jabs he totally shut down

Great analysis. When Atif won 2 rounds of the first match, Ulsan saw immediately Atif playing styles and fought solutions. Ulsan already know Dragunov moves players habits. He's tactical playing was amazing. In 3-0, I think Atif could switch to Feng like EVO final and makes Arslan trouble. But I know you are a very tactical player and you find solutions in the next match. I don't remember see Arslan lost against Ulsan in eliminated match. Mulgold beat Ulsan in the last Korean tournament's final. One of the best final I ever seen. In conclusion, Ulsan deserved it. And Atif will coming back strongly.

The more I look at this match...the more it becomes clear Atif was too much on auto pilot mode which Ulsan made perfectly clear. He knew Atif presses buttons way too often which came back to bite him in the end. This is the downside of the too agressive nature of this game..Ulsan was punishing correctly and was poking a lot and that got to Atif eventually.

@@Ali-f9h7r there are indeed different ways you can play Dragunow and Ulsan showcased it by baiting Atif a lot. Atif is known for always being over agressive especially with Drag and his way of playing Drag is a prime example of letting the character overwhelm his opponents. Ulsan clearly made use of that, studied his match against Nobi and Arslan and came up with the perfect countee against Atif his playstyle...Atif has never encountered somebody with a more effective Dragunow thus had no way to adapt.

I think atif doesn’t trust his instincts and relies too much on his strength. People study and come up with counters, specially koreans. There’s a reason arslan is 5 times evo winner. Arslan never underestimates his opponents and always has a plan B. Atif is as talented as everyone else but you have to be intelligent too. I hope he learns and comes back stronger. I also agree that if he had switched character which could have interrupted ulsan’s pattern. Even if atif lost with other character and came back to drag, that would’ve made difference too. Breaking the pattern was important here

Yagami also lost 3 straight games with his main reina and then switched to feng (lost with feng) came back to reina and made the greatest comeback. Sometimes it’s really important to break the pattern before trying to re-adjust.

He is saying Atif hhave to change his habit . His offensive was not working because of ulsan preparation. A player have more then 3 types of playing styles. Every big like ulsan knee me(arslan) player can tackle you easily if you have only one style of game play .

Clearly practised against Dragunov tactics for example, after D+2 = Ulsan did different things many times (WS+4 or Heat Smash). He used d/f+1 to check Atif's flow and SS into jabs for pressure. Like Arsalan said, it was big moves vs pokes battle. Ulsan played like Arsalan does. Atif will beat 99% of his opponents with an overwhelming style but some will find a way.
