Hey, Rin, I've noticed that you've been struggling a lot with your camera losing focus, and I thought I'd suggest something. If your camera has an auto focus setting, and a manual focus setting, maybe try setting it to manual focus and focus the camera so it can see your desk (or whatever you want in focus the most), then it can't try to focus on anything else and get blurry. When you focus the camera yourself on manual it will block the camera from being able to focus on anything else, and it will keep it from getting blurry all the time. I hope that made sense, and if you try it I hope it helps. 😊❤

I think the best part about these boxes and videos are that they push you out of your comfort zone. They allow you to try different mediums and see what you do and don’t like from art supplies. Plus, they challenge your drawing itself but trying to combine materials and make up a concept that fits the given color scheme. If you absolutely hate the supplies, colors, drawing - you’ve learned something and can take this experience with you

Try rubbing on it a little more gently and using a napkin/papertowel to spread the color to fill the area before going over it. You' can try layering like this to give more opacity. It seems like you're pressing a little hard which could be why it rubs away the paper a little more. On another note you can spray it with a matte sealant and then go over the sealant to build your values. You won't be able to adjust the bottom layer, but it'll help with your issue a little bit.

If i had trouble falling asleep 15 years ago i would throw a Bob Ross video on and i’d Fall a sleep in no time do to his soothing voice and tone. If i have trouble falling asleep today i put some drawingWiffWaffles on and Fall a sleep like a baby in no time. xD the reason why it's working better with the graphite here is because the paper has a tooth. Pastels do better when the paper isn't smooth, and if you get pastel paper (similar to Watercolor, but it won't hold water well) it'll actually give you very beautiful results similar to Monte's works.
