Stress. Anxiety. Fear. Three feelings that many people feel on a regular basis. An investment banker from Wall Street opens up about her personal struggles and shows us how to use our breath to overcome this negativity. Learn a quick and powerful breathing practice, that can be applied daily, to become calm and clear in the present moment.
Tina Sodhi is a finance executive that founded the Art of Breathing in order to bridge the gap between meditation and the corporate world. Inspired by Kundalini Yoga, an ancient method known as the “yoga of awareness," Tina has discovered a natural way to manage stress, stay energized and maintain balance with simple conscious breathing techniques that can be easily applied in today’s busy lifestyle. In addition to her practice in yoga and work in private equity, Tina loves exploring new cultures and playing tennis in her spare time. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Truly loved this talk! So useful and inspiring! I'm a person who is skeptical about too much breathwork because I believe that breath should just be left alone to do its own work. But Tina has convinced me that conscious breathing can be a very powerful and simple tool to erase high stress in minutes! Who wouldn't want such an easy solution? Who wouldnt want clarity and calmness? She has converted my thinking in just 10 mins with her exceptional talk. I want to learn these breathing techniques soon! Thank you Tina for sharing this with us.

Nose is only for breathing while mouth is for eating. To breathe deeply, start by fully emptying your lungs of air, then let the lungs breathe in air naturally without helping yourself breathe...
