aad dss no not that as well, you can make good art with just about anything. You don’t even have to have all your senses. Heck, I’ve seen disabled, deaf, and blind people make beautiful art! Most of them can’t even see! If you just try hard enough, practice, and are dedicated to your work, you’ll go far! Of course, don’t set extremely high goals, try to set many small goals, it’ll make the work more bearable. Also, she might’ve not gotten the Apple phone for the full price, my family managed to get 6 free iPhone XR s just by switching our provider and all we had to pay was the taxes! Also, equipment and hardware have nothing to do with talent... idk where you got that.

Sometimes, when I'm away from home, I do use my finger to draw on my phone --- with Ibis! Sketching is the toughest part,, so, I always sketch on a piece of paper - take a photo, and do the lineart & colors in ibis. th lineart goes really easily with the stabilizer + (a bit of a tip) I use the sakura stamp on size 3 so the line is a bit,,, dotty, or imperfect looking,, so that any wobblyness I couldn't avoid with the stabilizer is less noticeable! So,, My point is - you don't even really need a stylus to draw on your phone.

To get some decent line weight i recomend the genius pen, sure its not the same but you can get used to it. I also recomend using somthing that has a texture or can blend, like watercolor, marker,Alcohol marker, stuff like that. And dont go ham on the lin etools for lineart other than the symmetry one! This is the first video that I have ever seen featuring a non-Japanese mobile phone artist. My speculation is that in East Asia, it is much easier to acquire a phone than a tablet or a laptop or desktop. The people may have regular laptops/desktops at home, but they are family PCs, shared by other family members, used for work or school. So, the phone becomes a mini computer in a way. And the people draw on the phone. Even making manga/manhwa/manhua. Also, the people themselves are on average smaller than westerners, leading to smaller hands and feet proportionally. Though, if you are using a stylus, the size of your own fingers doesn't matter anymore.

@@cindymissnightmare5963 Each of the 3 main programs, Sketchbook, Medibang and Ibis Paint. All have different strengths and weaknesses. I'd honestly suggest at least trying them for a little while, do at least 1 or 2 drawings in them so that way you learn the program and know the strengths. For example, Ibis I'd say is by far the easiest and best for a beginner. Meanwhile, Medibang is actually the hardest to learn and navigate. But once you get used to it is WAY quicker to navigate than Sketchbook. Sketchbook is the hardest to use long term, but in my opinion has the most unique and crisp brushes that are great for different styles. Etc... I could go on and on. I just suggest trying all of them, then eventually move onto a tablet on an actual computer if you want to continue doing digital art.

✨Ibis Paint X✨ few things you need to know- •You can set up pressure sensitivity for basically any stylus -example- Apple Pen, Sonarpen. •Has a whole youtube channel bassed for tutorials! •The none free version is only $7.99!! very cheap for a great app •Its worked amazing for years! I've been using it for 2 or 3 years now! •You can use to fingers to undo(very useful) •You can import custom brushes( it's kinda confusing at first but once you know how it's really easy.) Side note: I don't draw on my phone, I draw on my ipad.

I like that you're showing people that art doesn't require expensive stuff because not everybody can afford a tablet or an ipad including me i draw on my phone

I would check out another alternative called Paintology also freely available on the Google play store. Hope this helps!

I use Ibis paint myself but doing the actual sketch on my phone is hard. So I draw it separately, take a pic, and put it as a sketch layer. So I can line art it. Works for me! Also I love you art!

I’ve always done it on my phone and I do have a tablet buts it’s one that you hookup to your computer/laptop but I prefer my phone

I do all of my art on my phone using my thumb. I have been doing this for about three years, so it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

To all people who doesn't have stylus = I don't have it too, but I watched many Diy hacks about it and it works, get a small cotton and aluminum foil , a normal pen, you get the cotton, cut it smaller, put it on the top, get aluminum foil put it over it on the pen, then, take a small band or something , put it down so the foil won't fall, and make the cotton on the upside a bit wet with water, don't make it too wet otherwise your screen I'll be wet, and tada! Sorry if I wasn't clear, I speak a different language, but you can also go watch tutorials if you want ! There very short like 1-3 mins

I always draw with my finger for ibis paint but I learned some DIY Stylus hacks and they worked perfectly.

This version of ibisPaint has blendable brushes, and the option to make the other brushes blendable as well. I find it useful to use the watercolor (mix) brush. I am very well aware that there arent that many tutorials out there showing how to use the brushes or the other brush options for those out there who dont have pressure sensitive tablets, phones, pens, etc. I have a tablet with pressure sensitivity and a pen with at least 1800(8000?) pressure, I cant quite remember. I just hope one day that people can make more videos and blog tutorials about this rather popular app for mobile users. Other than that, I do enjoy your videos and hope to see you working with other mobile apps in the future.

My favorite part about this app is that you can access almost all the features for free if you just watch an add. Honestly the add on top doesn't bother me at all, and I'm sure that for younger artists or for people who can't afford buying things, the adds won't bother them either. This app is capable of so many things. Ibis paint x has a youtube channel with tutorials and they do them on a phone screen. I wish I would have had something like this when I was younger and wanted to try digital but couldn't afford it. I keep jumping between procreate and this just because I'm still new to procreate and I was more familiar with ibis paint x.

I personally use just a random silver stick. You can basically use anything just make sure to activate the hypersensitive screen on your phone

I've been using my phone to create digital art for a while, and I'm really not the best at it. I used to trace my art, and I recently found a trick by using lines to determine the distance of everything in the reference image (drawn on a separate layer). It's kinda difficult to explain. 😅 I also got a digiroot stylus for drawing on my phone, and it's really worth it. The felt tip part kinda reminds me of the bouncy little ball on your stylus. 😊 Can't wait to see what you create!

I draw on my phone with my fingers and I think I am pretty good at it. Plus you should use the blurring tool for blending and shading.
@gachabagel76274 жыл бұрын
I use IbisPaint and actually there is no limitation in layers there is a brush for blending you can blend it with a special brush with having to use Manual blending and honestly it’s amazing I cannot see myself leaving IbisPaint I love your vids and I’m trying to draw better anime I took your tips they are amazing thank you so much!

I've been drawing on my phone for months, I don't even have a stylus pen, but I'm good at it. It's not about the materials you have, its about the talent you have.
