🤗🤗🤗. This was a reminder of when I came home after weeks in the hospital to 3 of my dream flower beds all prepared for the ultimate dream garden my sketchbook was filled with plans. I almost didn’t want to plant anything cus it was so beautiful as it was. Freshly filled and lush soil. Nothing better than a surprise to raise the spirits. And I agree Bri that a messy cottage garden would be spectacular. Don’t overthink it just let it explode with exciting colors adding color for winter as well. You may not have gotten a lot of work done as usual but the day was perfect just the way it turned out. Making memories and just enjoying the family. I am so happy with the increase in your subscribers, viewers and likers (not to be confused with lickers). Have a great last half of May my fine homesteaders. Also, your youngest is quite cute, but I am also interested in your other very young one. He has blonde hair as well and is even cuter than the baby. I understand not wanting to show your kids too much. But your tribe is beautiful. I loved the day three of them dressed up very renaissance with bucket helmets and crowns and capes and staffs. Greg Judy has great advice. He is doing it the way my grandpa taught me when We lived with him & grandma while we were kids. Kids build personality & "rules of life" its our job to teach them. You showing them that its good to give someone a break from their responsibilities is a good thing. It teaches them to offer the same to others. Great video guys. Art's parents were a big help with that mulch. The perennial bed looks so good, and all the kids helped. Bri,I know you are anxious to plant. This has been such a crazy Spring. Hot one day, frost and freezing another then warm, you just can't count on anything. But it will be beautiful when it is done. It is great looking with the brick edging too. I love an English garden. When I started mine, I made the mistake of putting Vinca ground cover in it and it's taken over. A couple of years of hip problems have prevented me from digging and now I have to hire a neighbor girl to help get rid of it. So Bri, use caution if you plant any ground cover in your beautiful new garden. Can't wait to see what you do!

Hey Bri, I would get a bottle of Dip-n- grow liquid rooting hormone and root cuttings from your Lavender plants that are thriving in your garden. You should have greater success with this.

Herbs are great perennials and have lovely flowers...sage, rosemary, lavender are fab. You can't leave it bare cos nature hates a vacuum so would quickly fill with stuff you don't necessarily want

Weed em and reap has a cool syringe like thing they use to give their herbal dewormer. The part that goes in the goats mouth is stainless steel I think, so it can be reused and last better than the plastic one you repurposed.
