Hello Paul. Thank you for your efforts in giving us a wonderful tour of where you do your paintings and your youtube editing stuff. But the best thing that I heard from you is that giving tutorial for free in youtube rather than going in to Patreon where your followers cannot see your tutorials unless they pay. God bless you always and Margot too.

Being a pensioner I really do appreciate your free tutorials on KZbin and I just love your sense of humour, it brightens up my Wednesdays, thank you so much. I found these question and answers really interesting and informative. I never really knew what gum Arabic was for and the bit on perspective did help me. Thank you.

Thank you, Paul, for all you do! I bought your book, and I so appreciate watching you personally deliver a demo or lesson from it for those of us in video land--I'm in the USA, so can't attend a class in person. I'm a retired architectural interiors renderer (read: precision), who has used only professional markers for color. I'm striving to loosen up, and love your definition of "painterly." This is what I'm working on achieving. Your videos are helping me get there. Thanks again!

You are such an inspiration Paul! Thank you for your generosity and hard work for all of us around the world (New Zealand here) who are unable to attend your workshops - by the way we have very good wines down here! Perhaps you will pop down to our end of the world one day? I've watched so many of your tutorials I feel I know you so very well and you're almost family! God bless you as you so kindly share your knowledge and skill with us lesser mortals.

Thank you, Paul. In my younger years I fancied myself an artist, and hoped to make a career out of art. Life got in the way, and here I am, an Emergency Room nurse, hoping to retire before I burn out. I have always kept hold of the artist in me. Thank you for inspiring me to have a life again in art, and helping me keep my sanity.

I must say a huge thank you to you for firstly doing all of this on KZbin for free, it's so generous, and secondly I am so glad I found your channel when we went into lockdown and you inspired me into having a go at watercolours. Excellent piece. I really liked the section about what to practice. Also, thank you for what you give to so many people around the world at ni cost. There are so many people who would not be able to afford patreon pages. I also love the feeling I get from your videos, such a friendly vibe, like you are talking directly to the viewer. I loved the part where you demonstrated techniques to practice. Thank you so very much for sharing your time and skills with so many people. I truly believe you and Margot have made a difference in the lives of so many.

Paul, my husband (77) broke 2 ribs from a fall from a ladder and has been busily watching your videos, which we do a lot anyway. This one, the #3Q&A plus studio tour was fabulous. Here we were thinking you had a professional videographer (or maybe it was Margot) because your videos are excellent and you don't just drone on for 15 or 20 minutes before you begin painting. Your tutorials are the best we've seen, and we watch a lot. Your sense of humor is great in making them a fun experience. We always learn a lot. Thanks for entertaining an old man in pain--LOL! I have learned so much and I look forward every week to your tutorials and to Margot’s Saturday challenge! reeally love the studio tour, I've wondered how it looked was set up etc. I'm still 'arranging' stuff. I seem to find a lot of time to arrange and review. My husband points out rightly that I need to get busy on wasting some paint and paper if I really want to get better at this. I know he is right but still struggle with the concept of if there is a picture I want to paint it has to come out right the first time with no practice. Foolish I know. Especially since most of the pictures I want to paint are done by professional artists like you or other's you've talked about. All who have been painting for years and I am just starting.....provided I move from in front of the computer and to in front of paper and paint. thanks so much for all the encouragement and information you give to all of us it is really helpful.

Nice to get to o see your studio. Great addition just beautiful studio! I have learned so much from you. And I love that you stated your own style will find you. The English East Sussex environment is so beautiful and historic. I spent time in Sussex many years ago and the sea is just amazing there. Have you ever painted the Seven Sisters White Cliffs? That was just breathtaking. Thank you again for Q&A. Best wishes today and everyday ahead.

Hello there, Paul! I'm fairly new to watercolor, even art for that matter. So I'm finding your videos both the older ones and the newer ones to be so very helpful and entertaining. I truly admire that you want to provide your knowledge and insights to us here in KZbin-land for free. Thank you for that from the belly of my brush and the bottom of my heart. ~ EmSi

I'm just popping by to say how much I appreciate your wonderful channel and all the hard work you do to bring us these entertaining and professional tutorials. I so look forward to them....even if I don't "do" them. Loads and loads of great techniques that would have taken me years to discover on my own. I try to apply them to my own work. Cheers!

Very enlightening, Paul! Ive loved having a peek into your studio. It's really gorgeous. A lovely light n bright space to express yourself. I'm quite envious - i paint on the cooker, using the light from the extractor fan! One day i would love to have my own space even if it's just in a corner with a desk lamp! Thank you for this.
