We painted your duck and your girl with the lantern in my 8th Grade watercolor class. The kids did great and we’ve framed them for Christmas gifts to their parents. Beautiful painting as always! I love snowy scenes. Thank you! Could I request one more winter scene please? A house/cottage in the snow with Christmas lights glowing on the rooflines? I'm not sure how to go about painting that one and getting realistic results instead of looking cartoonish. Many thanks and Merry Christmas!! Another idea for a later date... How to use super granulating watercolors maybe? I just picked up the schmincke tundra set, but I could use some pointers on using a paint with that much granulation. Thank you!!

Experiment but I think the best bet would be to dot on masking fluid for each light, paint house as usual, then remove mask and add color for the lights.

Paul, you are so good at what you do, it blows me away. I have tried for years to become an accomplished watercolour artist to no avail.
