This greatly explains the entire process, the volumes, etc. I especially loved that you did it on short hair - all the other videos I've seen are on long hair... those do not help me, as I wear my hair in a super short pixie. I have watched 100s of videos and none have mentioned using a stronger volume on the roots, and a weaker (10) volume on the ends. I have moved from the US to Europe and have not been able to find a stylist to do a bleach out the way my old stylist in the US did. I have gotten banding, bad toners, etc. After trying 11 different stylists in over 2.5 years, I will now try to do this myself... so THANK YOU so very much for this great explanation!!! And I agree with the comments that you are SUPER patient.

This is the best video!!! I really appreciate how you explained everything from consultation, what to expect before during and after. Your explanation of formulas, ratio, proper application and after care. The end result “blank canvass” beautiful, I wish we could’ve seen her after the toning or color was put on, but anyway, still amazing results. Unfortunately 30 yrs of having my hair bleached it lightened, never has a stylist been as attentive as you, wow!! Also everyone of them did leave for a lunch break or to work on another client at the same time, and most every time put me under a dryer, which resulted in damage. You definitely set the bar high and I love it!! A++++ Bravo 👏

Awesome! Thanks sooo much for the lovely feedback! When toning, what outcome are you looking for? We did a part two to this video. It's just not out yet where we toned the hair a peachy coral color. The second video that is still to come out is definitely a pastel vivids instructional video and not a natural hair color tutorial.

@@ElizaTrendiak Thank you for your answer! On me I prefer ashy blond color. I tryed the Dialight 9.01 and did NOTHING for me. Here, in Greece we dont have the famous vella tonners. I can find the igora ones but havent tryed jet. Thanks again and I am waiting to see more videos. You are great!!

It must be frustrating as you have a super professional process, especially with consultation to see a comment section full of I have never done this before but I'm going to Sally's to try. It's killing me reading them and I just discovered your stuff. Great ideas and good quality and patience of a saint.

the only thing I have a question is how do you have an even bleach out, when your regrowth is far past zone 1 "1 inch" with this application, I have always been taught to start away from the roots and then apply directly on the roots when zone 2 "the mids" are processed for a while
@ElizaTrendiak2 жыл бұрын
You are not wrong! usually you’d use 20vol starting 1inch away from the scalp, but her hair is naturally light enough that she bleaches off scalp to a level 10 easily. As Bx has a previous relationship with this client, she knows her hair and what it can and cannot hold up to.

I am so interested in hair colouring ...like a watch hair colour videos everyday five times or more a day. Im now 31 years old...can i still take class on it. Many of my hairdressers friend told me i should study as they are amazed that without any work in colouring i have so much knowlege in bleach the colour mix and how to mix colour n stuffs like that. I am so so interested. Yesterday i just bleach my hair. i put colour 9.1.. but intended to put 8.11 tomorrow..as its not ashy as i prefer....and the colour now is too light compare to my sides...

have root 2 inches grown out medium brown. Than older growth around 5-7 inches slightly orange and than then the rest almost 9-10 blonde. HoW do fix that top part that is more of an orange blonde ???? Also, can not purchase olaplex for the bleach what do use? HoW do you feel about high-lift blonde color?
@ElizaTrendiak2 жыл бұрын
This is a very difficult situation and we highly recommend hiring a professional who specializes in color corrections. We do not recommend doing it yourself.
@dorianalexander27302 жыл бұрын
Honestly toner. But she is right. You should go to a professional. You can't bleach out warmth. The hair will always have a little warmth so ya gotta use toner to counteract. If you bleach until white that is generally when the hair is gonna break off. Probably hit the orange with a lvl 8 and ends with lvl 10 toners with the lvl 8 having a blue and the lvl 10 a pearl or violet. Can add a small pop of gold to help reflect light. And consider this only if you wanted a more beige cool blonde instead of a warm or butteru blonde. That will require different toners. The potential blonde options is quite vast
@dreac62412 жыл бұрын
U have to bleach the orange tones again. Also, when doing touch ups, its important to do every 4 to 6 weeks. Don't wait until your new growth it 2 inches. I wash my hair before I bleach it. But I have been dying my hair for 16 years and my hair dresser helps me. If u dont know what you're doing, just go get it fixed by a professional and then u can start doing the roots yourself every 4 to 6 weeks.
@ElizaTrendiak2 жыл бұрын
@@dreac6241 we highly disagree. We do not recommend doing this by yourself. We always recommend using a trained professional.

Excellent demo and explanations! I have two further questions: 1. Can you bleach process transplanted hair on guys after a hairline reconstruction transplant (after it is properly healed of course)? And 2: Can any level of virgin, completely unprocessed hair, if it's not darker than a level 3, be brought to a level 10 like this with two rounds of 20 vol? Or maybe a first round of 30, avoiding the scalp, and a second round of 20?
