Dr. Alyssa Kuhn, physical therapist and arthritis specialist with Keep the Adventure Alive teamed up with the Arthritis Foundation to bring you an awesome exercise class. This Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program Collaboration is for those who have arthritis and are looking for ways to get moving! This is a recorded workout from a live session that was offered by the Arthritis Foundation. All you need is a light set of weights to get started.
This exercise is perfect if you have osteoarthritis and looking to be as active as possible! It is important to get moving, especially if you have joint pain. Its time to get moving so you can keep your arthritis adventure alive! If you have OA, these exercises will help your joints feel better.

👍🤗❤️ I love the way Dr. Kuhn makes these activities “flow” from one to another. I actually look forward to these exercises rather than feeling I just need to get it over with! Feeling the difference with more flexibility and less discomfort.

Thank you. I have a combo of degenerative Arthritis (knees) with RA in my hands. I finally found something along with Pilates for Arthritis that I can get stronger and flexible

I had my left hip replaced 4 months ago and am trying to delay surgery on my right hip (also with OA) as long as I can. This video has been SO helpful to get into an exercise routine to give my new hip and old hip much-needed movement and get my heart rate up. Thank you!

Good video.Found it challenging,not aerobicly but from knee complaining.I have some bone on bone arthritis but in May had also managed at the gym to get micro tears in my hamstring and ACL.Will have to adapt some of this to sitting but hopefully in the future I will be able to do this in it’s in it’s entirety.

Thank you Alyssa for breaking down the mechanics of the squat. I was completely doing it the wrong way, bending with my knees first while having knee arthritis. Thanks for the in depth explanation, I’ve never seen this before!!

Oops, you forgot to step to the opposite side holding the weight, towards the beginning of the video - before you meet opposite knee and elbow.
