Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail on the Producer Sportfishing June 9th 2024

Was lucky enough to jump onto the @producer_sportfishing immediately following a Grande trip. Captains Frank and Tom put us on bluefin starting at 3:30am . @sdca_six2 hooked up on a knife jig , then later hooked up on a sinker rig.Had quite a few casualties on the bluefin and ended up with 8 total for the boat. We chased bluefin most of the day with no luck . Eventually we found 1- 30lb+ yellowtail hiding under a small kelp Captian Alan of the El Capitan Slayed it , then shortly after landed about 9 more smaller grade yellowtail. Slayed those yellows! I think I heard you say 30lb, but how do u have your spinning reel setup with your line and hook? Thanks!

@victor_clark thank you for watching , I have 50lb braid as my main line , then only a leader of 30lb florocarbon the length of the rod. 😁🎣🐟🤙
