The stolen card thing only makes sense if it was Ayako who stole the card, and not someone stealing from them
@Starwashere173 ай бұрын
Well that doesn’t make sense because they use it as their twitter pfp
@oOLareOo3 ай бұрын
That would result in a different type of dispute, possibly even write off. The dispute was initiated from Ayako's PayPal account, which means, that the PayPal account owner states the purchase was unauthorized, not the card owner (no matter if Ayako owns it or not) outside of PayPal. And since Ayako is the owner if this account, it sounds malicious dispute.
@dangitdoodles3 ай бұрын
@@Starwashere17 how so? If Ayako stole the card it would make sense that they made the purchase of the chibi with the stolen card, hence them using the art as their pfp. If Ayako’s card was stolen, then them using the art as a pfp wouldn’t make sense because it wouldn’t be Ayako making the purchase
@dangitdoodles3 ай бұрын
@@oOLareOo oh 100%, I do think it was Ayako being malicious, it was more so just a comment relating to the point of it being a stolen card that gets brought up since Ayako uses the art that was commissioned

Chargeback aren't just a slip of a finger though. From what I remember, You have to fill out a form to do a chargeback. At the very least, you have to press a confirmation. Even if we ate to say that some how she did this by mistake....Shes still using the art! And the artist is reaching out because of the charge back, a response would ve the bare minimum

@@Phonk_kouhai You don't seem to have done any research at all either. Loli and shota isn't a body type. It's a kink. It's people who prefer kids. Shota (ショタ) is Japanese for a prepubescent boy, and the word is sexual in nature (when used in this context). The same with loli (炉裏). The word comes from Lolita, a book about a man lusting after a little girl. Lolita-kei is a clothing style in which people wear cute Victorian-like dresses.

Oh wow, I got a chargeback once for unauthorized usage (supposedly child using parent's card) and showing the design was being used by buyer was enough for Paypal to give back the money. The other people I was working with who also got a chargeback from the same person supposedly did the same, but Paypal did not side with all of them (one out of five got their money back). I guess you just have to hope the Paypal person working on the ticket is actually reading through the case. :CC

Why is it so hard to commission popular artists? is it an ego thing where they only work with popular clients? If so that is such a shitty business practice. In no other community but the vtuber one have I seen this.
@DizzyAlyx3 ай бұрын
One possibility is perhaps they were using a parent or family members card for commissions. This wouldnt be the first time Ive seen a kid using their parents card and getting carried away. Parents generally dont understand how commissions work, and with it being a large size purchase, its possible a parent saw it and went "absolutely not" without looking much into it and knowing what it was for, and that commissioned art isnt that simple and cant just be cancelled on a whim after the fact. Id be surprised if it wasnt something like this as it would be out of character, as theyve previously been a good client.

The @/ afaik is for several reasons, it seems the algorithm doesn't like tags/links in the initial tweet, even if it's a tag. So sometimes people will do it like that and then fully tag them in a reply. The second reason is every like, reply and repost will also give the tagged person a notification, so it's to not spam them. I'm usually a little on the fence cause I don't generally expect a lot of interaction on my tweets anyway lol, but I do want to be careful and not cause spam for my artist.

Let me say my opinion on this subject first there are many reasons I can think of to make her do this but I do not justify her action what she did is really terrible for the artist😢 - 1- Maybe she was asking many artists to draw for her and as we know some of them are late in accepting the request maybe she asked many artists and they did not respond to her maybe she had a specific artist she wanted to draw for her but he did not respond so she could not wait anymore and asked the artists randomly and what happened happened and she recharge money back because either the artist she wanted responded to her or something else, 2- There is a waiting list among the artists maybe her favorite artist accepted her request in same time when the work completed. """because if she a Chinese maybe she had a gap time between country or her fav artist and our artist who get scammed""" 3- The reason she does not respond is probably because her account is managed by a company or several people and not one person I'm sorry if my words hurt anyone I just want to share my opinion feel free to reply to my opinion I accept every discussion ❤
