My sister used to do one kinda like the drill one when we were younger and still burned CDs. When she would make CDs, to decorate the blank label on the CD, she would put the CD in a portable CD player and rig it so that it would turn on and spin the cd while the cover is open, and she’d turn it on so the disc would spin and she would do those same types of designs on the burned CD labels. I was so amazed with her creativity at such a young age

Drill hack - using the pencil is a good tip. A shorter pencil would work better. Then use a less floppy paper, like watercolor or light card stock, attached to the eraser with a bit of hot glue. Box on inside of cabinet - definitely my favorite. Lots of heavy duty tape, though it sucks to clean off later, a sturdy box or Dollar Tree plastic bin, and some decorative fabric, paper, or paint to make it prettier.

I totally relate to the 'I can't draw a circle ffs'. I currently started studying animation at university and one of our first lessons was to animate a bouncing ball incorporating the 12 principles of animation, so of course I did it digitally, because otherwise it would have been too much work. But like I already said, I really can't draw circles and I was like really embarrassed as they showed individual frames of my clip, because the circle looked like a hot mess and not remotely round, I just shrugged and we all got on with the lesson until about half an hour later the tutor in front started telling an anecdote about a professor he used to have who somehow had to figure out a way to communicate with a bunch of people not speaking the same language as him and yadda yadda. Then he said, drawing is like a universal language, because most people will understand you somehow and who isn't able to draw at least a circle? Long story short, at that part, someone at the back of the class called my name and like fifty people, including me, were just laughing 😂 Still sad that I can't draw a circle 😐😅

The circle thing overlaps because your finger (and most of your hand) moves all the time, especially with pressure but there's other ways to position the hand,to make smaller or bigger circles, like the knuckles,or the bone of the wrist as the center. But you really need to practice those and i had a teacher who could draw a circle on the blackboard by using the shoulder as a center. There's probably hundreds of ways to do a circle with only hands, I'd love to see what you can come up with
