I just wanted to let you know, I made this bread for my community group at church and people were freaking out about how good it was. I think it tasted like childhood to many of us “of a certain age”! We are all “seniors” and old enough to remember when homemade food actually tasted like this. It was happy sharing! Thanks so much!

We've had few good zucchinis harvested...had bought pineapple couple days ago....1st loaf outta oven....hubby and I, so far, say yummy yummy!...i added my cloves cinnamon allspice and nutmeg..just coz!!! Really heartwarming story! God bless!

I found you! The minute I seen the words "My Mom's" that's all I needed to see! And then, hearing your voice, listening to your story again, was like you and I spoke yesterday. I had a busy day and hearing you tell the story about your mom touched my heart, and just like that I had a smile on my face. Thank you. You are so fortunate to have this beautiful memory with your mom and I am forever grateful that you shared it. When I first made your mom's recipe two years ago, I also made a Lemon Blueberry recipe to which my son said "I'm not feeling it, mom. The pineapple recipe is the best. Can you make that again for me?" So, my babies are in the oven, and I am surprising my son with his favorite Pineapple Zucchini Bread tomorrow at work.

I couldnt find crushed pinapple but I will fine chop the rings. grating zucc as I watch. *I didn't have 2 large loaf pans 1fullsize and 4 mini loaf. baking now. update ... delicious. ate the two broken slices and saved ends for tomorrow. shared the rest and there is still so much xucchini left but i ran out of flour and pinapple. will grate for next batches to come. first baking of fall... what a delicious way to start. thanks for the recipe

What a wonderful story and wonderful recipe! I have 1 medium loaf and 2 small loaves in the oven right now and I can't WAiT to taste test! The emotion in your voice as you were telling the story touched my heart. I'm blessed to still have my Mother at almost 91 years old. Her Mother, my Grandmother, taught me how to bake pies when I was a little girl. I know the emotion that wells up when talking about our special pie baking days.
