You're leaps and bounds ahead of this guy. I will say, I can't believe how far you can come with 100APM and the Protoss 'Great Expansion' strategy. The dude was literally SC2 Zerging you that first game.

Yeah it surprises me all his hypothetical nerfs we’re on zerg units. Protoss actually mines faster than all the other races it’s sort of absurd how you couple that with the warp in mechanic you’d think probes would mine the least, drones the most, and SCV’s not far below drones but Protoss mine the fastest. Couple that with a brain dead army comp (at least defiler + ultra king lurker is ApM intensive) and absolute trash can players get good st toss.

@@ingo505 it shows how bad the Protoss was and just how punishing the matchup is. Protoss can nab wins from terrans hundreds of MMR higher because the effort from both sides to accomplish the same goals is horribly mismatched. (Not to mention Protoss just gets a better economy period). It’s PvP abs PvZ that put the damper on these bad players. A good zerg would kill this guy twice with hydra busts.

What I love the most about these is that you make some very specific claims, and the beauty is that you have to prove them through your gameplay (sometimes works and other times not). It's almost like seeing the scientific method in action: you make a claim or prediction, and then its validity is tested through real application. The real beauty is that when playing against relatively strong players like these (unlike ladder), you're able to produce the most solid evidence for your claims (if successful).

You can, but everything else Protoss has kills them. Might as well spend 0 gas with Vultures to get mines, and save the gas for tanks.

Nah, they can be good in bunkers against some sort of ultra aggressive Zealot play, but unless you're going for some cheesy bio push (even then you don't really get many fbats, mostly marine medic) Fbats are only useful against Zerg in certain situations. As the other guy said, you can instead for for mech and get Vults, which counter Zealots far better and bring a lot more utility for less gas.

You can’t get an academy up fast enough to fight early zealot pressure, and once you’ve held off the first zealots, mech is better than firebats

Since he's going mech all his upgrades would benefit vultures more. Vultures are way better than firebats too since they cost only minerals, can move very quickly to scout the opponent and put down mines to slow down the opponent.

Artosis, listen carefully. BUILD MORE SCV, you have 4 CC, 29 scvs, 600 minerals and only 1 CC is producing scvs. You should rebuild scvs in all CC, it's ridiculously crucial. It applies to the whole game. Up to 50-60-65 scvs you should build them as often as possible. It's like macro 101.
