Just one little thing, often i found it hard to follow your mouse and what it was clicking on. maybe if you got a red circle that follows your cursor or something? just my opinion, haha

I have just found you. Your approach is good for it is directly on the topics I need to learn about.It does not race along too fast. This video gets into the detail carefully. It is better than many trying to explain Rebelle5 for example. I have always liked Art rage from its start as it is aimed at a traditional painter.

so at 13:52 when you put one stencil on top of the other i got curious. Can you paint over them and make a compound drawing? and if so, how many stencils can you stack on top of each other before the software crashes?

Hey man, nice video! Question concerning the program, is it possible to load in an image and do some segmentation? For example, if I have an image with some circles and squares can I delineate the different shapes and give them seperate colors? Thank you

+Victor Deklerck I think I know what you mean here. Like in Illustrator, you can choose a shape and change it's color via the color picker. In Artrage, you'll need use the selection tool and select the shape and then change the color using the fill tool. It's a bit of a longer process, but still works.

Hi there! I have been watching your videos on this and just bought one for my creations for my etsy store. My problem is that i cannot figure out how to save the painting/ drawings to a format that will be able to go onto my Silhouette studio app. It will take any photo format. (I have a mac). I am just starting struggling with all the items and possibilities. But after I tried some Art-Paint Programs I found only this one which runs with normal capacitive pens, Mouse on my surface Book 3. Great. If I tell somebody: Well I just try to learn doing paint-art by computer I watch wrinkled noses. But this is a new a additional new kind of art and I want it to learn to. Maybe I will get in touch with you, because my menue looks different and I switcht it into German.

Hi Terry, this might be a very basic question but how do you increase your brush size above 100%? I have been try on my Artrage but I don't see how to do it (when I increase the size the limit is 100%, which in many cases is not enough). Thanks for the tutorial :)!

Press and hold Shift and drag left/right on the canvas, or click on the text size and enter a number above 100% (up to 500%). You can't change it by dragging on the tool size to give users more control over the smaller sizes/avoid you accidentally breaking the computer by creating a brush size your computer can't handle :D (You can only go above 100% in the desktop versions, by the way).

I have problems with this program when I export PNG files to Illustrator, they come up with too many pixels, and the colours are not exactly the ones I used before on ArtRage. Thanks!

+crikk23 we just bought the same, there is a promotion where you can upgrade from the lite that the pads come with to the newest version, and it ended up only costing me $15 today since it's 1/2 off the current price, and it's currently on sale anyways. Really happy with that!

I never used this software, but I'm sure there is a transformation tool to change size of anything that u highlight. I think the stencil size is uniform, but the print u create, can be changed with a transf. tool

+Leonewolf123 Right click on the stencil and choose 'Remove this stencil'. You can also open the Stencils menu and click the little menu button int the top right (or click and hold on the closed tab for the Stencils menu) to remove or hide ALL stencils at once. You can also create custom keyboard shortcuts to do the same thing by going to Edit > Set Keyboard Shortcuts > Stencils

Athena Golden Which software is this? It sounds like you might not have ArtRage, if it offers animation. You might want to look up specific tutorials for that program instead.
