Arylic new B50 vs A50plus Wireless Stereo Amplifiers

Thank you for this review I would greatly appreciate if you could help answering some questions about the B50 1- Does it come in silver color 2- Can you connect via Bluetooth a pair of Sonos speakers 3- Does the HDMI allow display of the music metadata and album art work from Spotify or Qobuz? 4- Does the app allow for sound adjustment( bass treble etc…)? I love my B50! It’s perfect for a secondary Sound system in a small room such as a guestroom or exercise room. I have to use mine in my living room mainly for exercise videos. It’s really a great device for the $140 price tag!

I've got B50 recently, paired it with the Polk ES10 speakers (due to limited size of the room) as my main stereo setup for TV as a soundbar alternative. I'm not a huge fan of giant bass from the sub. But there is still an option to connect it if you want! I was worried a bit if it would be enough (amp power, size of the speaker etc...). But I was surprised how those small speakers paired with B50 can produce that much sound. It is very subjective topic, but for me it definitely works. And HDMI ARC is simply fantastic. It turns off and on the amp with my LG TV. Only the TV remote control needed! Exactly what I wanted.

A50+ is a real standalone wireless stereo amplifier, B50 supports only Bluetooth, which has lots of restrictions. I think B50 is more suitable to use with other devices like TV hdmi arc setup with apple tv etc.

Nice analysis. I do wish the A50+ had the physical volume knob, phono and HDMI input. Or - I wish the B50 had wired Ethernet and WiFi. Ideally they will make the next model a superset of the two. -Jon

I just wanted a soundbar replacement on the cheap and this seems to be useful as part of that. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.
