Very sad song. My mom lost her first baby, in a small town in Texas. It was called a "blue baby". She later had my sister after WWII, then me. Life has it's good times and bad times.

This one got to me. I have memories dripping out my eyes right now. We lost our first baby on our 1st anniversary and we lost our 2nd child our daughter at age 29 in a terrible accident. Thank God I still have my son.

Just watching your faces through this brought me to tears. Another song I can't listen to with dry eyes is Ed Sheeran Supermarket Flowers. Makes me miss my mum so much.

Just heard that Supermarket Flowers about 3 days ago for the first time. That’s a tearjerker for sure

My wife and I went through this very thing. One of the hardest verses is, "We never should have picked a name, cause now she has a face. And no matter what we do, no one will take her place." We had done that. But, yeah, men can Intellectually understand how a woman blames herself, but we can't really understand it on an emotional level. All we can do is try to support you, but like he says, "Tried drowning you in happiness. I only make it worse." I'm glad you guys reacted to this one. Love to you guys and little Archie!

Just an FYI that after this miscarriage they had two other children. So as tragic as losing the first one was and probably always will be, there is a happy ending.

James is so good at baring his soul through his music. I hope it's cathartic for him. I love how sensitive this video is - perfectly matched with the video.

James, the strongest reactions I've seen from you have been from James Blunt. You seem to connect to his music beautifully.

This happened, and this his how he responds: writes a beautiful moving song about it. One way to deal with Trauma. PS They do now have a couple of healthy sons!

That's what they are called it if you lose one and it didn't take a breath. Which sounds harsh. Men are usually as sad as the woman and would never blame her.

I recommend "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Eva Cassidy. Much different from the original, more somber and contemplative. Beautiful and lovely.

People don't recover from it. It's always there; some days more noticeable than other days. To get an idea of what it's like, watch Craig Morgan, "The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost" live from the Grand Ole Opry. I still don't get how he made it through the performance.

YT glitch. Somebody might find it on another random channel and ask you about the context (happened a couple of times to me 😅).
