Hopefully, one handles it very discreetly. I can’t share much.. I did this work for 35 years over 5 hospitals. Suffice it to say, A dad whom I’d helped with wife’s birth, walked up to me in the hospital and mentioned going to see his ‘other baby’ in the nursery, that he had with X.. One of the few times in my life I was truly speechless. Oh my, one heck of a sad mess.

When my mom was delivering me my parents were temporarily split due to him cheating He showed up with the other chick and she was pregnant. I was born in August my sister the following January. My parents got back together and my mom got pregnant with my middke brother. Later, much later she found out he was seeing that same woman at the same time. So my brother was born in June my second sister in July of the same yr. 2 yrs later my mom was pregnant with my second brother, she found out about my second sister and that my dad was cheating with a new girl too. So she finally filed for divorce but it couldn't go through until after she wasn't pregnant. Then my crazy dad tried to deni the kids from my mom. As my 1st sister was adopted by her moms family, then her mom married a man who raised my second sister knowing she wasnt his. The judge asked to see us kids. Took one look at me, i look like his double in many ways, and gave her the divorce and set him up on child support. Which he never really paid. Then he said I'm his but my brothers werent bc they looked like my mom and they had a genetic disorder. THAT HE GAVE THEM. We didnt even really reconcile until a year before he died and has taken years for me to find and connect to my sisters.
