But in each case the Republicans refused to play ball. Could that be that because in ALL the instances where the winner of the popular POTUS vote failed to win the electoral college vote it was a Democrat who won the popular vote and a Republican who won the Electoral College. Meaning, when the Popular Vote and the Electoral Vote aren't in sync...it's been the Republican candidate who ends up in the Oval Office.

Stephen Fry Possibly. Sometimes you need to ask the same question 3 times until you feel you have a complete answer. Sometimes. Sometimes the reporter is being a jerk. Sometimes there is bias, sometimes there is not. It’s hard to tell. If you ask the same question 3 times and get 2 different answers, chances are the person isn’t being truthful. That’s why it used to be tough to be a journalist and have to exercise that judgement carefully. These days, I tend not to trust a lot of what’s reported as news but is really an opinion piece or a third hand report (we are reporting that this source said...). Despite what our illustrious leader believes, reporters are too close to the pols to be objective... they get their story, meet their deadline and it doesn’t matter what the truth is.

Jason Beck Actually most don’t “boast” , they have someone close to them recount or enumerate their accomplishments. But since he doesn’t have many of those (eg. record low unemployment for blacks & browns, winning the tariff lows, tax cuts to trickle down to middle class, bring back American jobs, etc has all gotten stale if not yet debunked altogether), he has no choice but to use false bravado. 😂😂😂 The op was right.
