I knew it was gonna be about this rumor again, before the video even started. XD It's kind of a testament to how English classes in Japan are taught poorly due to the hurdle of Japanese phenomes not giving them much versatility for complex-phenome languages, so when they hear someone with near-perfect English like Sora they can't accept that he achieved that level of fluency. But to native English speakers, Sora does have a noticeable Japanese accent under his English, which to me sounds very much like a Californian dialect. Japanese natives just hear Sora's perfect English and can't pick up on accents. 😅

Personally I never had any doubt Sora is Japan born and raised. His english is good, way above the engrish of most Japanese, but his pronounciation isn't that of someone who grew up in an english speaking country.
