If you are saying we should join BMI because of the free fee it was then what about now from 2023 that they are charging a whole sum of #75 dollars for a songwriter and we are hearing that is being sold to another person? Will you still advise me to Join them? Because I am confused right. I am an individual that manage my own publishing company and I am looking for whom to Join right now. Which one will you advise me now to go for?

A little confused about something. I just did a collaboration project with 2 other artist 2 of the writers use Ascap and I use BMI. When i try to register it says i can't do it with artist who have Ascap. What do I do?

This is incomplete information. The video said nothing about ASCAP vs. BMI collecting royalties worldwide. And there was no mention of SongTrust, which is essential.

This video has nothing to do with SongTrust so there's no need to mention it. It's also not essential depending on who your distributor is. I use CD baby and I have a separate publishing with them that I pay for. They collect all of my digital royalties for me. It's the same thing as SongTrust.
