“IF” you have not already, please consider going to Adoration of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament (also known as “Holy Hour”). Call your local Catholic parish and find out when they offer it. Then, just go and sit in silence in Christ’s Presence. Take your bible. Read scripture, pray, contemplate. Tell the Lord of your search for truth, of your doubts, worries, even fears. Then, be as patient with Him as He has been with you. When you receive the grace to know that HE IS THERE, you will be forever changed. Miracles occur in Christ’s presence - of that I can personally attest.

I have been in the process of conversion for 3 years now, it has been a difficult and beautiful experience. I recently started praying the rosary at least 3 times a week and much like my experience with the Catholic faith so far, it has deepened my relationship with Christ and further strengthened my resolve to get baptized. I am currently going to OCIA and will be baptized this coming Easter by the grace of God. Pray for us new and prospective converts!

There are great resources that help you visualize the mysteries of the rosary for each individual prayer that might help. I don't think a lot of Catholics understand the Biblical foundations well enough to explain it to others. But even when we try, we are so often met with angry accusations: "You Catholics WORSHIP MARY!!!" "VAIN REPETITION!!!" So insulting to our Blessed Mother, who is truly Jesus's most faithful disciple and always points to her Son, never to herself-- except as a model and guide to Christian belief and practice. And very discouraging to hear-- how can anyone reason with such people?

One of my favorite Bible segments bringing to mind the dignity of life- When Mother Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she went on an about eighty mile joyous journey to visit her cousin Saint Elizabeth (patron saint of expectant mothers and pregnant women) in her hour of need, Elizabeth said referencing her tiny child in her womb John the Baptist who was conceived when she was in old age: Luke 1:41-45 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.” Praying for our Church, our culture, and for us in my Rosary every day! I believe Jesus Christ is the mediator, and I believe our Blessed Mother Mary can lead us to Him. She prays for us on our way to Him. When I refer to Mary as my mother, please know I am not taking away respect due to my one and only God, Lord Jesus Christ. I believe loving people Jesus loves helps us love Him more, so the more I love Mary, the more I love God, and Jesus gave Mary to us as our mother on the Cross. John 19: 26-27 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. Mother Mary, the first Christian with her choice to say "yes" to my one and only God's will, I believe she is the number 1 model for sainthood for both men and women. She did God's will perfectly in every respect from the moment of her conception, listening to every single one of His commands. Her choice to say "yes" Luke 1:38 Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her. to God's will ushered in salvation for the world, and she did so knowing the sacrifices and sufferings that would result from her decision, but, humbly, accepted the privilege of containing the God of the Universe her womb, and then becoming Jesus' most intimate friend, companion, and greatest consolation while on Earth. She was the devil's ultimate humiliation! I believe God is the King of the universe, having all power of the universe, but God chose Our Lady, a humble lowly woman the privilege of crushing the head of the devil. Mary is not God, but she is a saint, and being that she is with Jesus in Heaven, I ask for her intercession to our Lord (and for sake of brevity, I'll say I "pray to Mary"), similar to how I'd ask people to pray for me (if you have the time, please do! I'm a broken sinner in need of many prayers), but I trust she is a saint in Heaven so I believe it is helpful to ask for her help, especially being so close to her Son. There is only one God. He is the source of all good. He is Goodness. He is Love! Thank you, Father Mike Schmitz!

I’m a cradle catholic, and then became a non denominational Christian at 26. I was extremely devout for 5 years and now I am going back. I joined RCIA this fall and one thing I always heard was, it’s not good to repeat over and over again the same thing. And that it’s mindless, blah blah blah. One person that told me that was my husband. I told him, look, the Rosary is the perfect prayer. Look at our father, look at Hail Mary. What Are you saying? You’re thanking, you’re asking for mercy, you’re asking for God’s will, you’re praying for EVERYONE, literally everyone else. What else do you need? Now I still will take the time to pray for my Lord about specific things but the Rosary is perfect for our day to day. In the end, we can’t manipulate God and we have faith he will know what we need.

Happy Feast Day of the Holy Guardians Angels! Prayed to Jesus today through the intercession of my guardian angel! Psalm 90:11 "For he hath given his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love entrusts me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen. I've been praying for you Father Mike and the people here in my Rosary every day (thank you for everyone last week who prayed for my friend, including someone who replied praying to Jesus through the intercession St. Mark Ji Tianxiang!) and, on Sunday, the Feast Day of the Holy Archangels, St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, I prayed to our Lord Jesus through the intercession of Saint Michael, as well as Saint Gabriel and Saint Raphael, to help protect and defend us. I believe he's our friend and loves us with the love of Heaven, the love of God, and God entrusted us to Saint Michael, so we can trust he will help us get to Heaven. He will help take care of us! Hope you have a light-filled peaceful joyful blessed October, everyone!

This reminds me of Lot asking the Lord if he will destroy the righteous along with the wicked. Which is why prayer is not only good for us but those around us. Who may not know God and when we can we should share with those in the dark. Plant seeds brothers and sisters. God will water them through us and others.

That's such a beautiful thing about the church. Knowing we have the ability to pray even in the midst of our sin. Knowing that's the way of the saints of course knowing ourself. Before we go never ceasing, certainly we must strive for it, polishing the saint...😂😂😂

ain't that some, when you know what the church does, is make it part in. From the altar to the sun, you realize how much love the church has for a sinner. WHERE YOU AT PRODIGAL, WE LOOKING AND WE TOOTING AND RECRUITING. WE WILL FIND YAH AND WE WILL KEEP YAH.

Ok, but when did she ever say that in the Bible? The Bible is supposedly a Catholic book, so where does it say that? Bible book, chapter and verse. I’ll wait-And don’t say everything isn’t in the Bible. If Catholics truly made the Bible, why leave it out? 🤔

@@sunnyjohnson992 The apparitions at Fatima happened many centuries after the Bible was completed, so our Lady appearing to those three children isn't in the Bible. And in the video, Fr. Mike said that each decade, or mystery, focuses on a particular scene or section of the life of Jesus. (I'm paraphrasing) And when Jesus was on the cross, he said to John, "Behold your mother." And he said to Mary, "Behold your son." That's when he gave her to the Church as our mother. Whenever we pray the rosary, we're not worshipping her. We're simply asking our holy mother to intercede for us to her son.

Any time I pray the Holy Rosary and meditate on the mysteries, I always gain a peace that would never be possible with any material things we think we enjoy. Mary's intercession is real and when you realise that you can't help but wonder "why didn't I start doing this sooner." Praise be to God and God bless everyone.

Our Blessed Mother truly brings us to her Son, Jesus. I am a living testimony of her Rosary doing just that. As a Catholic who once strayed away believing what non-Catholic said about Jesus’ Church, I am now walking faithfully and eternally grateful to my Mother, Mary. I have Jesus in my heart and it is thanks to His amazing mother!
