Triples are better then VR because you are not closed of. And you can build your own cockpit as you like. Yeah, but VR has REAL 3D view. So its better. Nope, not really. You can also see 3D with monitors without glasses! These screens are put there already and will be commercially available in the coming years. Just saying 🤪 @@projectkurvz9424

Andre's attitude is a major benefit in Asetek's hand of cards - there is no figurehead like this for many other brands and sometimes you start to like a brand because of the leadership. Without Andre taking an active role, I think Asetek would sell a lot less just due to price point and styling compared to the others. Hopefully he keeps standing out front-and-center

As an early adopter of their wheels and wheelbase I can simply say nothing but good about them. I plan on waiting for the Invicta abs pedal, shifter and handbrake. Once all are out I will be switching from VNM, even though I machined custom aluminum mounts for the simagic pedal haptics, simply due to the software/interface and firmware ease. The quality, passion and real care of their products that they show sold me.

From the customer service and quality alone, I'm likely a customer for life. Hopefully they will continue this mentality. That said. The benefit of an active pedal is that you can simiulate multiple different pedal types and change it on the fly. Not just for ABS. That said, I'm good with just adding the ABS pump. Excited for that to come out.

I hope they switch from their own mounting holes to the ones you have on fanatec bases and literally every other base (since they stole from fn). I was this close to getting a la prima bundle despite it costing more than gt neo and alpha mini but the stand I have wouldnt naturally fit the la prima and it would require either drilling or paying more for brackets.

There is already an 15Nm ClubSport DD with cross platform support PS5,Xbox,PC The base itself has FFB whick can be as good or better than any other base @15Nm @CorSair once whey are fully integrated. I hope they bring new formula wheel like the one Asetec have just announced They are doing great in the market and their products especially the high stuff But l think there is place for them to like moza in lower tier with an affordable price DD would have to be at least 9Nm maybe 10Nm to give it some headroom so it doesn’t clip 9Nm is enough for most on PS5 even PC as l expect you would benefit from the rest of ecosystem more Manufacturers fine for the same space can only mean a good thing for us consumers great all-round

Quite funny that Software is Pro for the CEO, I love the Forte Base and the Quick Connect that was the selling point for me especially that they integrate it with 3rd party wheels. But with my Forte Base it never saves the settings so each restart I have to dial in the settings again, Customer Support could not help and also new windows installs didnt help.

I love Asetek, I just wish their Quick release would be about 20-30 percent cheaper. It’s just to much to pay almost 200 dollars for a QR. only thing I don’t like.
@Jo-Jo-Joris-873 ай бұрын
You only need it tot connect NON-Asetek wheels. Also, all big wheel brands like Cube amd Ascher sell there wheels with the QR included. If you have alot wheels from dif brands already, you can buy 5pack. Also, the come with 3 dif lengths. And there will be dif brands making the QR to i hope/think. So you only need to spend alot on QR,s if you have a lot of NON-Asetek wheels already bought. And you also all want to use them frequently. Otherwise you can just buy 2 and switch the QR if you really want. 🤑
@OnceRandomOne2 ай бұрын
The QR should be cheaper. I have a different brand wheelbase and all of my wheels are from different brands. it should be cheaper to encourage more customers. I also don't like the pins being exposed. Their wheelbase is great and i was close to getting one but didn't like those two things.

I was really sold by Andre's approach. I bought an Invicta wheelbase. Very pleased with it. Bought a set of Invicta Pedals, couldn't stand them. Returned them after 2 days, was charged 20% (!!!) for restocking them because I had mounted them to my rig (very very carefully I might add). What other way could there be to test these? So, less than impressed with their approach to customers, and I've now had to return my wheelbase as it doesn't work with my Cube Controls wheel (Cube Controls has sent me a second wheel, and a new circuit board to rule out any problem with their hardware). Fingers crossed customer support finds the issue or the only selling point for the wheelbase (wireless USB pass-through) would be gone.

The part about him realizing their stuff is pricey as hell but not dropping the price is so frustrating. I wish them the best but do we really need another 5nm wheel with garbage pedals that can be pressed down with a finger. He even remarks on being aware that the materials they use are overkill. How hard is it to use cheaper metals that are just as strong but maybe slightly heavier or less pretty? How hard is it to get a load cell into these budget pedals when I see sets of load cell pedals going for 120-200 from no name brands that work just as well as the lower end Fanatec/Moza stuff? You guys are at the beginning stage and have such an opportunity to shake things up but just going to end up another overpriced boutique sim racing company that loses all their customers to Moza and maybe Fanatec if they get their stuff together. Maybe I'm clueless and making equipment for software devs/doctors is the better market idk.
@rogerwennstrom66773 ай бұрын
I mostly agree: Asetek seems to be quite pricey for the features. It does seem very well built and I wouldnt want them to back down too much from that, but I cant quite see where the money is spent right now compared to some of the competition.
@paulyskidda3873 ай бұрын
I’ve used fanatec ,Moza and asetek. Asetek’s cheapest line (la prima) is just top tier. Company’s like Moza and fanatec cannot compete with the quality and customer service. Asetek isn’t here for quick money.
@Space-O-20013 ай бұрын
Asetek's whole moto is cheaper ranges scale down functionality NOT quality whilst still offering an upgrade path from your buy in point. For example I can upgrade my Forte pedals to an Invicta set
