@Silentgrace118 жыл бұрын
2dog14 Thank you for the correction :) I was writing quick and hadn't checked over what I wrote. My little nerdy self would have jumped at the notebook since stationary was a major weakness of mine, on top of it being from a series that I loved back then. Of course, nowadays I look back at it and think "weren't the relationships kind of abusive?", but I suppose it just makes for good memories and fun discussions with friends about how we were lowkey obsessed with it back in the day. It was my first manga series, so at least I can't really say I chose the worst one to start with, persay.

17:06 That's Saitama, also known as One Punch Man, from the anime of the same name. The premise is that he is so insanely OP that he wins pretty much every fight he gets in with a single punch; this causes him to give zero fucks about pretty much everything. It's a fantastic anime, one of the few I can actually recommend to people that don't normally like Anime.

Munch Pak is the best bang for your buck and they have the most customization. -(but it's mainly just if you like foreign food.)- (Nevermind. they have options in the customization bit I talked about.)

I would also enjoy such a novelty but postage to Australia invariably costs more than whatever you're shipping. Even stuff made in south-east asia that you'd think would be cheaper to ship.

So your friend couldn't tell you which one has 90's and 80's when the one box had Pokemon cards in it....y'know the craze from the 90's.

Maybe they only looked and didn't take things out. Not being very helpful but it's possible.

For that matter, the original Gameboy only came out in late 1989, making it very much a 90s thing overall. Stuart needs friends with more pop culture savvy.

The Pokemon cards? One of them had a bloody Atari 2600 cartage in it! THAT should have been the obvious one.

Stuart, did you like the 80's Robocop t-shirt in June's Lootcrate? Probably the best t-shirt in that box in years, imo.

Superted was also shown here in Finland and it's pretty well known around here, at least by those who happened to exist back then. The entire show was dubbed by one man called Helge Herala :D

This video has less resolution then the middle east Edit the vid is fully rendered and in HD now so this joke is pointless

Mario and Yoshi the only game i ever had for the Gameboy cause my parents were tight arses.

Is it at least a good game to be stuck with? Puzzle games like that are generally one of the best kinds to be stuck playing endlessly.

You didn't have Tetris? I find that odd, because I thought every Gameboy came bundled with it, considering every person I knew that had a Gameboy had Tetris.
@anonmouse158 жыл бұрын
It didn't come with the Gameboy Colour.
@Kiralitess8 жыл бұрын
Adam Dixon I wasn't talking about the Gameboy Color, I was talking about the original old grey brick Gameboy. I assumed that was what Tim Tam's was talking about, as that Mario and Yoshi was an original Gameboy game. I know Gameboy Color didn't come with a game included, I bought two of them back in the day. I do remember that Tetris came with the original grey brick when we got it.

STU!!! ,The toy box with the Mario and Yoshi seems like quite good value really, i'm quite surprised, the going rate for it is around 5 pound used on Amazon...i think you should keep doing the 80's and 90's toy box (IF AT ALL POSSIBLE) as they have good nostalgia value and suit your channel really quite well. have a good 1 mate.

Carbon 12 Well, he got all the details right so yeah. As I said I was into He-man for years after it first started (I remember the old mini-comics where all the text was at the bottom and He-Man was a wondering hero, long before that Prince Adam weirdness) and I totally missed this guy. :)
@luketfer8 жыл бұрын
Weren't those the minicomics initially packaged with each figure that were nothing like the show because they invented the story for the figures several years before it got a TV show?

I had a flashback to seeing the Stone Protectors opening song which told me enough about the show as a kid to know that I didn't need to watch it. I always wanted a Boglin as a kid (the puppet of course, not whatever that was). Eh, it would be rotted now anyway. American here, and we actually had SuperTed as well. Apparently it was the first British show to air on the Disney Channel. They made a sequel series here, and of course Fantastic Max which I remember a little more clearly.
