LadyDragonsblood when you buy stuff from nike and the like, you are specifically buying it for the name recognition. nike, reebok, adidas, etc are all very well known names. that isn't true with an item like this. this a gameboy shirt with another company's logo on it that no one gives two shits about. not even a company like nike would splash their name right across the center of a team jersey they are selling. at most it'll have a little nike logo in a corner somwhere (which is usually on the original jersey anyway).

It would have been more obvious if the hole went all the way through. The way they moulded it makes it look more like it was part of a Marty statue at some point and they just scrapped it and went with the board only. It had my mind going in all kinds of directions OTHER than it being an intentional design choice so I imagine Stuart was having the same thoughts and the whole "it used to be a scooter" part slipped his mind too.

I feel as though the reason funko pops are so popular is that they are more likely to release merchandise based on obscure properties, and in enough variation to consider them valuable collectibles. I group them under the "look but don't touch" category of collectibles, useless other than to look at and support a movie, game, etc. That you enjoy, like a poster or figurine does.
