Well if you were from that era you can't help but remember stuff. I'm ten years older than he is and I recognize everything from the boxes. And since I've always had an interest in toys my whole life, then it really sticks with you. I can easily tell knock-offs from the real thing on sight too, because my friends and I loved knock-offs and laughing at them and the Engrish that came on the packages.

Those cards are from a series named "Dinosaurs Attack!", which is a sort of follow-up to the more successful "Mars Attacks!" series from the same company (Topps). They took several liberties with the size and diet of the creatures, and there was even a comic book based on it.

Yup, I own the full set of cards x2 (I found a retail box of them at a comic sale for $8). The comics were initially cancelled after the first one came out, but I believe it was either one or two years ago they released the full five issue run. I believe a movie was also planned at point but never happened.

The series was actually a spin off from Street Sharks, where they appeared in their cartoon in a story arc toward the end of their series, before being re-designed and got their own show, whose continuity was different from Street Sharks. That dinosaur at 6:09, I was in Crete in Greece when I was 4 years old (around 1998-99) and I remember getting one of these in a toy store. It's a part of a series of similar looking dinosaurs, I can't believe I remember it still, and it's also unbelievable that you happen to get one of these in this video almost 20 years later! :P

I remember a few years back I got curious and googled the M.U.S.C.L.E figures and I'm pretty sure that one that's just shaped like a warty hand is literally the most valuable one there is. I can't imagine the people who make these boxes not knowing that though so maybe it was only valuable in a particular colour?
