This is most likely why Ebay deleted the listing too... you're not actually allowed to sell mystery goods there, unless it's something like a pack of trading cards (mainly in case of scams, but also as there might be dangerous/illegal goods) It relies on the community reporting such listings though, however if a seller has a couple of strikes against them they will be permanently banned from Ebay along with everyone who lives at their address, and anyone who ever logged on to Ebay using their wi-fi! Sounds extreme but it's true.

haha - this video was great! Some thoughts: - the fiber cables are actually worth a bit of money - not cheap, so you may make some money on those - the blacklight is used in stamp collecting quite a bit - so that's something to give to your stamp collecting friends - the "guard bar" is for a baby crib. Find a friend with a baby Unfortunately, the FUNKO Pop is non flammable - so you can't even start a fire with it.

I'm sure eBay removed it because it's considered a "mystery" package-type deal, which is against their TOS. Also, I've seen and heard of it recently that people will send items to an address that is "undeliverable" so they can submit a claim for a lost package and have insurance payout on it, 5x more than the item is worth some times.

since the originals are made in China as well, there's a good chance these are backdoor products, which is a common problem in China. When the factories close for the night, the copy pirates are let in through the backdoor to use the original molds etc to produce copycat products that look somewhat original, but aren't. It's one of the problems that come from having stuff made in a country that couldn't care less about copyright or intellectual property

If it's a UK to UK package, but with a customs tag, it's because it's a package from (probably) China that has been shipped to the UK as part of a large consignment. The consignment is sent to a UK processing facility, where it's given it's own (usually RM or Evri/Hermes, the so called "last-mile" courier) shipping label so it can finish the rest of it's journey. This is often done with items from AliExpress and other similar e-stores, to enable air shipping (10-20 days, sometimes faster) of cheap packages that would've been shipped by a service that'd take months, rather than weeks, before this became common practice.

I used to sell knock offs like that, you can tell because there’s plastic on a non leather handle, the dust bag is super cheap material and if you look inside the lining of an original is very silky and usually there’s a controlato card inside. That being said, your logo on that knock off is very original looking so it sells for more than other cheaper ones. I’d guess you could sell it for around $50. If you list it make sure to only say designer look alike. If you use LV in the description they’ll cancel your listing.

On the customs declaration thing: Often times these chinese companies that send non-orders to random addresses declare the item on the website, but then stuff some cheap crap into the box instead. So likely, they wanted to get a review/order for their cheap knockoff microprocessor, but didnt want to waste their merchandise, so they stuffed an EVEN CHEAPER blacklight into the box instead, hoping nobody would open the box and find out.

Any video where you see someone open a box with a $500 unbroken item is 100% fake. When they have a label underneath and a customs declaration, that's a sign that it's from a freight forwarder. Chinese sellers ship a bunch of their products to UK/USA warehouses and then dispatch orders from there so it's not always directly from China. As someone who buys a lot of things directly from China this everything shown all looks like they are directly from China, the blue / gray plastic bag is a big giveaway. I have also noticed a lot of it comes by Royal Mail with a UK return address. My guess is that there are warehouses in the UK where a lot of the stuff coming from China is sorted and relabelled and then set to their proper destination. And this stuff is just the stuff that fell through the cracks of the system with people putting in the wrong address, forgetting about them and not collecting them or even moving house the new occupants rejecting things that aren't theirs. I don't think these are connect to the fake reviews thing because these seem too large and bulky for that and they seem like thing people would genuinely order from China.
@Maverynthia
@Maverynthia 2 жыл бұрын
I think the return address might be from Hong Kong because they label a lot of stuff as "From your country" but put a mail house address on it to make you think it was shipped from "your country" when it was still shipped from HK. I've seen a lot of this on Aliexpress where they charge $5 to ship and it's still coming from China.

The listing will have been taken down for violating eBay's 'chance listings policy' - "Mystery items or listings that offer an opportunity to win an item by chance or contest are not allowed on eBay." Basically, if you purchased a mystery box and wasn't happy with it, you would have a right (under eBay's T&C's for business sellers) to return it for a refund. There would be too many scams otherwise.
@lemolea9571

It's not buying the chance to win an item though, you're fully aware that you're buying 10 undelivered parcels. It's the difference between knowing you're buying a mystery box that might have something good or something bad and running a lottery. I think they might not like the fact that they're technically also selling addresses/sensitive information
@mrj4615
@mrj4615 2 жыл бұрын
@@lemolea9571 Mystery items are not allowed on eBay. A returned parcel is a mystery item, because you don't know what's in it. Here in the UK all business sales have to comply with distance selling regulations. If you bought a mystery parcel and weren't happy with it, you would have a legal right to return it. In the case of a dispute, how could the buyer or seller ever prove what was sent? If it was anything to do with addresses or personal information, then that would have to be covered in eBay policy, which it isn't.

If those beyblades are authentic, (and they were definitely beyblades or knock-offs) they sell pretty well, actually. First one was a something-something Phoenix (Revive or Prominence Phoenix, I think) If it feels hefty, sounds more possible that it could be authentic and/or not a worthless Hasbro bey made in the US. Edit: Taking a closer look, it seems more likely that it is a Dead Phoenix. However, I can’t seem to find one in that color. There are rare CoroCoro Limited Edition sets that are painted in that color scheme, but can’t seem to find a Phoenix in any of them. I’ll keep looking cause I’m bored and have an affinity for beys these days. (Hey, that rhymes) Edit2: It is a B-131 Dead Phoenix, but with a seemingly non-existent color scheme. However, I found multiple listings on eBay with that color scheme selling for cheap. They were also listed as unbranded. So unfortunately, I guess the Dead Phoenix you got was a knock-off after all. Sorry. D:

A lot of supposed UK parcels show signs of import stickers underneath the RM stickers - this is classic drop shipping where knock-offs are shipped to an address in the UK from places like China, then it is re-posted with an UK label. Usual practice for sellers who claim their items are based in the UK but arent really. Drop shipping is against eBay and Amazon ToS so this is their "workaround" although quite aggrivating thinking you'll get an item in around a week in the UK and it actually takes 4-6+ weeks to arrive.
