This is most likely why Ebay deleted the listing too... you're not actually allowed to sell mystery goods there, unless it's something like a pack of trading cards (mainly in case of scams, but also as there might be dangerous/illegal goods) It relies on the community reporting such listings though, however if a seller has a couple of strikes against them they will be permanently banned from Ebay along with everyone who lives at their address, and anyone who ever logged on to Ebay using their wi-fi! Sounds extreme but it's true.

If it's a UK to UK package, but with a customs tag, it's because it's a package from (probably) China that has been shipped to the UK as part of a large consignment. The consignment is sent to a UK processing facility, where it's given it's own (usually RM or Evri/Hermes, the so called "last-mile" courier) shipping label so it can finish the rest of it's journey. This is often done with items from AliExpress and other similar e-stores, to enable air shipping (10-20 days, sometimes faster) of cheap packages that would've been shipped by a service that'd take months, rather than weeks, before this became common practice.

As someone who buys a lot of things directly from China this everything shown all looks like they are directly from China, the blue / gray plastic bag is a big giveaway. I have also noticed a lot of it comes by Royal Mail with a UK return address. My guess is that there are warehouses in the UK where a lot of the stuff coming from China is sorted and relabelled and then set to their proper destination. And this stuff is just the stuff that fell through the cracks of the system with people putting in the wrong address, forgetting about them and not collecting them or even moving house the new occupants rejecting things that aren't theirs. I don't think these are connect to the fake reviews thing because these seem too large and bulky for that and they seem like thing people would genuinely order from China.
@Maverynthia2 жыл бұрын
I think the return address might be from Hong Kong because they label a lot of stuff as "From your country" but put a mail house address on it to make you think it was shipped from "your country" when it was still shipped from HK. The listing will have been taken down for violating eBay's 'chance listings policy' - "Mystery items or listings that offer an opportunity to win an item by chance or contest are not allowed on eBay." Basically, if you purchased a mystery box and wasn't happy with it, you would have a right (under eBay's T&C's for business sellers) to return it for a refund. There would be too many scams otherwise.
@lemolea95712 жыл бұрын
It's not buying the chance to win an item though, you're fully aware that you're buying 10 undelivered parcels. It's the difference between knowing you're buying a mystery box that might have something good or something bad and running a lottery. I think they might not like the fact that they're technically also selling addresses/sensitive information
@mrj46152 жыл бұрын
@@lemolea9571 Mystery items are not allowed on eBay. A returned parcel is a mystery item, because you don't know what's in it. Here in the UK all business sales have to comply with distance selling regulations. If you bought a mystery parcel and weren't happy with it, you would have a legal right to return it. In the case of a dispute, how could the buyer or seller ever prove what was sent? If it was anything to do with addresses or personal information, then that would have to be covered in eBay policy, which it isn't.

If those beyblades are authentic, (and they were definitely beyblades or knock-offs) they sell pretty well, actually. First one was a something-something Phoenix (Revive or Prominence Phoenix, I think) If it feels hefty, sounds more possible that it could be authentic and/or not a worthless Hasbro bey made in the US. Edit: Taking a closer look, it seems more likely that it is a Dead Phoenix. However, I can’t seem to find one in that color. There are rare CoroCoro Limited Edition sets that are painted in that color scheme, but can’t seem to find a Phoenix in any of them. I’ll keep looking cause I’m bored and have an affinity for beys these days. (Hey, that rhymes) Edit2: It is a B-131 Dead Phoenix, but with a seemingly non-existent color scheme. However, I found multiple listings on eBay with that color scheme selling for cheap. They were also listed as unbranded. So unfortunately, I guess the Dead Phoenix you got was a knock-off after all. Sorry. D:

The Louis Vuitton bag is definitely fake lol. You can tell by looking at the "O" stamped on the leather tag. LV always uses a thinner o whereas the fakes tend to use a wider one. There's also stitching directly on the LV monogram which is something you'll never see Louis do. It is a good dupe though, one like that would probably go for about $60 at a local shop by me

Watching this remembering when I was introduced to Ashens about 7-8yrs ago maybe. I heard my 7yr old daughter giggling like there was no tomorrow…went to investigate and she was on her android tablet watching Ashens opening Moshi monster packets…she was doubled over laughing, there was a lady googoo in there somewhere…I will have to go find it and watch it again 😂

Those are all-in-one DACs (direct attach cables) for short distances, as opposed to stand alone fiber/copper transceivers that need separate cabling. If they're 10Gbps SFP+ and not counterfeit the price would be accurate...otherwise really not worth the trouble.

That plush braid thing is to put in a cot so that your newborn/baby don't toss and turn and get their limbs caught in between the openings or hit it. You can also use it to prevent your baby from turning by surrounding them in it

the cisco sfp cables can be worth a bit, at least as far as cables go. Mighty want to look into that :) And reagrding the guard bar. Might be one of those that put infront of the door if it has a gap. To stop wind coming through.

That is a fake bag. You can tell by the stitching seams. The real ones have the pattern through out, and all connects, even at the seams, if you look at 16:51 you can see the top seam has the pattern abruptly end without counting to the other side of the fabric. They ALWAYS have complete LV logos that are not cut off ever too, and you can clearly see them cut off all over.
@Kincior2 жыл бұрын
I think that first of all it wouldn’t have been so poorly packaged
@therappingconservative24382 жыл бұрын
You can also tell by the plastic wrapped handle. LV would never wrap their merchandise in plastic or anything that cheapens the appearance. It would be shipped in a box surrounded by cloth for protection. But also it looks cheap as hell and is clearly fake.

A lot of supposed UK parcels show signs of import stickers underneath the RM stickers - this is classic drop shipping where knock-offs are shipped to an address in the UK from places like China, then it is re-posted with an UK label. Usual practice for sellers who claim their items are based in the UK but arent really. Drop shipping is against eBay and Amazon ToS so this is their "workaround" although quite aggrivating thinking you'll get an item in around a week in the UK and it actually takes 4-6+ weeks to arrive.
@DarthPerkins2 жыл бұрын
Stuart, if it's important to disguise the addresses, you may want to delete the barcodes and QR codes. Just out of interest, I got the first packages sender/recipient and details via UPS.
@milokiss82762 жыл бұрын
Yeah, People forget that bar/qr codes are literally just strings of text in black and white.
@penfold78002 жыл бұрын
Yeah i was thinking that. Barcodes dont always mean much but QR codes deffinately are the bane of modern life. Always remember to destroy all of the label, not just the address. ...and the other dispatch QR code on the other side of the package too.
