Sir g I agree , technically it sounds all great but the problem is not our systems . It is a symptom of a much greater problem , the problem is the mindset of our people. You know it more than anyone else that this will not be implemented , even if it were implemented by any chance the "real" maaliks of the systems would make sure that the initiative remains a failure. Its just another government, far less experienced though, this government will focus on its touch points ; Eradicate corruption (put the Mians & the Zardaris in prison) , start a campaign for health & education (make some tweaks here and there) etc to secure a mandate for the next elections and that's about it. By now we have a slight Idea why you Immigrated to Canada :P

Super liked!! Asher bhae first of all I am glad you and your family came out of that horrific incident all safe and sound. The idea of implementing egovernance sounds cool but we are a nation with a very small percentage of computer literate people especially elderly who are not even too fond of cell phones.Govt. will never take this headache of educating people especially a computer. Pakistan is probably the worst example of health and life safety procedures.I worked as a bridge engineer in Karachi and I never saw a single labourer wearing a hard hat or safety boots or any of the PPEs which are a must over here in Canada.Uncountable people lose their lives working on those construction sites just because they dont wear personal protective equipment. Nobody is held accountable for the loss of those precious lives as in our country everything is a sold commodity .Laws can be violated as they are not made for the heavy pockets. I dont think this govt. is gona turn to anything starting from the letter "e"..

While listening that incident i was making images in my mind long dark road desert everywhere cold wether 4×4 amarican kind of a jeep little rusty not powerfull head lights suddenly realising abt the threat pulling hand brks quickly ......its not less then a Hollywood movie scene and do include it whatever u will.make another movie and make it an intro scene.... but still it was a reality it was a panicking situation & gud to see that u guys r fine. 2ndly dnt stop making these videos its more like educating ppl so in a way still ur playing ur part as a countrymen as a patriot. Really sad to hear the incident. I can only imagine the trauma it would have been. These are one of the reasons we leave pakistan and move to other places. I think there should be an institution monitoring progress of every other department and government. We have for corruption and tax evasions but we don't have any which can measure progress of a government for instance. If you work on a mega project you would understand how the progress is continuously monitored, schedules are made, deliverable are listed and then you have to go by the schedule. So lets say if government says they want to do this and this then make a schedule and stick to that schedule and that schedules should be monitored throughout. Held government and departments accountable. If someone dies in Thar out of hunger then who would be held responsible and by who?

Just Legalize weed and booze in Pakistan ( or at least in Freezone like Gawader to start with) with proper reforms same as Canada, then see how all would be good with in 2 years interms of economy, overall system stabilization and rule of law. Every fucker in Gulf, Northern Africa, Central Asia, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia would head for narco-tourism to Gawader. The geographical location put us into a centre piece of all these countries and would take around only couple of hours away by air. Note for all haters I dont smoke neither drink. Had done a feasibility after going thru the case studies of Goa vs Amsterdam vs Prague vs Ibiza. If Pakistan can be the first Muslim Regulated Necular Power so why not the first regulated narco-tourism friendly country. The fertile land, weather conditions, less water consumption from weed crop is all plus points to favour this idea into reality. Sir Ashir I know its against the theme of your Duwah Drama but I think time has changed and its in our best interests to convert our weaknesses to a smart shield for bright future. Please do think on this while having ur next lemon iced scotch with deep draw puffs of cigar. Why I am commenting here? As I believe a idea like this put forward by a minority/celeb/ex-gov servant would be converted into a movement in a Muslim dominated environment and voices would be acknowledged as a positive node. Would appreciate to have your veiw of the world on this. If you can do a video on this I am happy to put my hand up to provide content to do a blue print animation to sketch this as a proper fesibilty presentation where you run the show as a presenter or if you have better way addressing this would appricate your advice. Your idea is fine but I don't think its applicable in Pakistan, customs reform which you were part of it mostly have a literate community, how u can implement e-government in places like interior Sind where people can't withdraw cash from ATM which they get from BISP because they are simply too illiterate to do so.This is just one example

Today's news in the papers exactly mentions what Ashir has been identifying for very long time. Here is a slap on face of our so called "systems" from the world bank: www.express.com.pk/epaper/PoPupwindow.aspx?newsID=1106616276&Issue=NP_ISB&Date=20190728 It clearly mentions that current PM who promised to bring radical changes, has been unable to do so. Let me tell you why...Because our state does not have such capacity even to start from somewhere to bring any kind of reform. The right people in our bureaucracy are now scared and insecure about their jobs. Because if they sign any orders, FBR and NAB will come after them. The mistrust and lack of commitment is reaching shocking stage now. If it continues like this then surely the idea of change will go vain.
