This was one of the best miniseries/shows that was on television. My mom used to watch it with me. R.I.P. David Oliver, Amanda Peterson and Richard Kiley, all terrific actors who gave wonderful performances!

A year after it was cancelled, I ran into Wendy Phillips at Blockbuster. I was so excited to ask her about David Oliver, I loved him! I'll never forget it. There we were, standing in front of my car in the parking lot, and when I asked about him, she told me had just died. I couldn't believe it. So young, so talented, dead. I started to cry, she started cry. Two total strangers crying together. I still remember that sadness and shock when I found out. Such a great show.

What a beautiful show. I would love to see it again. I had such a crush on the beautiful young talented David Oliver. It was so sad to learn he died of AIDS in 1992 at only 30 years old.

I loved the story about Sam and Key. That is the main reason why I followed this series when I was a Teenager. RIP David Oliver. I love Sarah Jessica.

When I saw this clip, tear filled my eyes and the water works started. David was a good friend when we were both young and doing theater together. i have such great memories. A loving talented friend I miss so much.

Such a great show. The network let a great one slip away. As I recall, Kiley won an Emmy for the series.

They don't make beautiful television shows and theme songs like this anymore

The best family drama series in the history of television! I took a trip to the Museum of TV just to watch episodes again. 20 years later, all but the hairstyles held up!

I loved this show. I was in college, at-the-time. I only saw the breakup scene; in the final episode of the miniseries. I watched this show religiously or tried to. I caught bits-and-pieces of it and it was fabulous. I was really mad when it was cancelled. Thirty-three years later, I would rather this on you-tube, than the garbage that passes for TV, these days. I was in love with Wendy Phillips, still am and I really liked Amanda Petersen and SJP.

I started watching it because of David Oliver who played Perry Hutchins on ANOTHER WORLD and I got hooked. It was an AWESOME show!

This was the "Mad Men" of the time. It was discussed and analyzed the next day at work. This was a great show.

Yes, this was excellent work, a true ensemble. A few years later it may have taken hold...

This was SUCH A GOOD SHOW! I agree, they never should've cancelled it AND they should re release it on dvd. I've been looking for it for years too! Thnx!
