You inspire me to be a better christian. Faith is truly the only armor against the enemy. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them my hours to work are limited. But I KEEP FAITH IN JESUS! People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and I’m battling lupus my health isn’t the best. Yet God gives me strength. I will keep faith as I constantly struggle to pay bills and I constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children not knowing if I can pay my rent keeps me up at night. The devil wants me to give up. I will not! God Gives His Hardest Battles To His Strongest Soldiers. Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.

i totally get it i have 3 kids under 8 and i decided to change my habits last summer,i started eating healthier,exercising,lost over 20 pounds,during summer break i took all 3 kids to gym with me everyday(they don't have sitters, i brought toys and activities so they could sit and wait) but my little one was giving me a hard time not sitting still so i had to change my schedule,now it's been about 6 months that i wake up every day 4am to get to my 5am class ,my husband needs to leave for work at 6 so i only have that hour for myself. It's not easy mama but we can do it! Some days are harder than others but the key is not to give up🙏🏻

oh and of course ,as soon as i get home at 6am my kids are awake,so that means two more hours taking care of kids lol (compared to what they were used to wake up) But i try to see the bright side,they are watching me and learning all that i do(reading the bible,exercising...) so having them by our side while doing all these good habits can be fun 🥰

After being married and having 4 sons. I am now a missionary with my husband to prisoners in Indiana. Because of my faithful habits. We constantly entertain and bless people at our hwhen we're enjoying the weekends. During the week we minister to the men in prison. My husband teaches the men how to be real men. While he preaches, I put my hands to my home and make sure he has everything. He needs to continue this wonderful ministry. While I take care of our home and our ministry. Because of a faithful schedule. I can constantly bless other people and reach out my hands with kindness. Keep going sweetheart. You are definitely on the right path.

As a woman approaching middle age, it’s interesting to see the different things we pull from Proverbs 31. The main thing that jumps out at me these days is how much responsibility this woman takes on. She is running a household and works her tail off to manage and care for everyone in her household. For me these days it means waking up early to get my kids a healthy breakfast, making sure my father in law takes his medication, getting everyone to school and doctor’s appointments, and making sure my staff is paid on time and knows how much I appreciate them. I’m not sure how Proverbs 31 did it all, because I definitely can’t! 😂

Jesus wants you to spend time with Him. He’s waking you up to spend time with Him! No matter what time you happen to wake up, pray. Use all the time you have to spend with Him. Your prayers are needed all day long, however, early morning hours are so special to Him. Spiritual warfare is real. Pray over your self and family. Let Jesus know you want Him in your life, to guide you & protect you. He’ll tell you things you couldn’t imagine during these times!!! Pray without ceasing!!! Follow His lead!! You’re doing good!!😇

I think going to bed and waking up early is important but we don't necessarily need to wake up 5am everyday. I've got a good schedule of waking up 5:30 twice a week, 6am three times a week and 7am on weekends :) Also aiming to get in bed by 8pm & 9pm really helps!
@Afett1118 ай бұрын
I agree, I think it's a matter of what time does your day start. For someone who's day starts at 10 or 11, 7am would be a good time to get up. Also that changes depending on your living situation such as single, husband, husband and kids, ect.

I struggle with getting up early as well, and I always have. I fought for years to get up early and read my Bible then. I would almost always fall asleep reading, no matter where I was sitting, and I would then over sleep for school/work. I finally started doing more of my Bible time at night when I had energy. I started meal prepping more at night, and I clean at night. My husband is the opposite. He is a morning person, so he does his Bible time in the morning. But by me cleaning and prepping at night, it makes his mornings smooth. And he'll prep other house things in the morning (like putting away the dishes from the dishwasher I washed the night before, or by starting some laundry for me so I can move it to the dryer when I get up). It works for us. Hopefully this helps you! If you feel getting up early is what you need, go for it. But there is a way to prep for your day without having super early mornings.

I am ND, too. You don’t have to do a whole thing. And it doesn’t have to be at a certain time that is not sustainable in your life. The point is to be intentional. Pick a time and set an alarm/reminder to do ONE thing. For example, I wake my kids at 9 so they can start their day. So I set my alarm for 830, but some days I don’t feel well so I sleep through until 9, but when I get up, I brush my teeth. Once that’s on autopilot after maybe a couple months or so, I add drinking a whole glass of water with my medication before I get to have fun stuff like coffee. Add steps to the routine from there. Same with the evening. I started with the same thing (brushing my teeth so it was easy to remember the bookends of my day).

I love you Ashley, but most of us do not have the time to do a morning bible study AND leisurely go to the gym AND make breakfast AND get ourselves ready before we start our work day. That's definitely a privilege you have. I get up at 4:30am every morning and have just enough time to do a quick 30 minute bible study, get myself ready for work, get my kids ready for school, pack lunches, and then I'm driving downtown for a full day at the office until 5pm. So in the cases where we have to provide for our family financially, those "urgent' needs do come before the leisurely passions in life.

You can just pray for like 2 minutes and read the verse of the day on your bible app God knows your busy, You don't have to spend a lot of time praying or reading the bible for him to know you're grateful and you love him

Everyone is in different seasons She’s in a different season than you I don’t think she’s personally trying to tell people they should be doing exactly what she’s doing but trying to build motivation of how to make more time for God She’s just doing that in her way and experimenting with doing it in specific ways the Bible describes She seems to work remotely and has a type of blog or website in order to have flexibility in her schedule I don’t think she’s necessarily “privileged”, she’s young and chose a different type of lifestyle that afforded her more flexibility in her daily schedule which is actually awesome

The proper time for things is God’s time, not ours. We are usually in a hurry, but God never is. We are often impatient and ready for everything to happen right now, but God, in His wisdom, prepares us first for what He wants to do in our lives, and preparation takes time. God takes time to do things right-He lays a solid foundation before He attempts to build a building. We are God’s building under construction. He is the Master Builder, and He knows what He is doing. God’s timing seems to be His own little secret. The Bible promises that He will never be late, but I have also discovered that He is usually not early. The good thing to know is that He is always right on time, and His timing is perfect.

This is awesome...but, I'm assuming you don't have a full-time job to go to every day? How great to be able to focus on your workouts, healthy eating, spending time with friends, and skin care. Most people have to get up at 5:00 a.m. to go to work 8+ hours a day. You're pretty fortunate.

You can still make a routine for when you get off work. Everyone’s situation is different but don’t look at the negatives focus on how you can add positives and trust God that he will make a way💓

Hi! I almost went past your comment, but I wanted you to know that I also struggled with sexual immorality. At the time I was still going to church but secretly living a life in sin. One day, I just felt convicted that I wasn’t living a life that was desperate for God. I repented and he called me back to him. My sin was keeping me from having an intimate relationship with God because God is Holy while I was giving in to the desires of the flesh. Since walking with the spirit, I no longer have that lack of self-control and desires of the flesh. I know it’s hard but we cannot serve two masters. We will always serve one or the other. I’m certainly not the wisest person on here and I’m still learning to do God’s will, but as someone with a similar experience, I hope this encourages you and doesn’t come off as judgmental. It’s tough to say no to sin because sin feels good sometimes, but it ultimately leads to the path of destruction. No Christian is perfect. We are all sinners, but we shouldn’t use God’s grace as an excuse to sin. God loves us and desires our genuine repentance. To quit sin, Jesus even used the example of cutting off one’s own arm if it caused one to sin. Now, I don’t think He wants you to cut your arm but what I read is that we should take extreme measures to cut sin out of our lives. For some that might mean cutting off a relationship, or certain sites, or not going to certain places anymore. For me, I also had to do so, I prayed for forgiveness and for Him to cleanse me of my sin, and then I started to try to get to know God better by reading my Bible and coming to Him in prayer daily. Fellowship with other Christians can also guide you in the right direction. Impact video ministries on this site also greatly helped me with getting started. Please don’t give up and remember that Jesus loves you.

Hi! Daily Bible study has changed my life! It’s not just about reading and memorizing the Bible, but it’s about breaking down each verse and praying for the Lord’s understanding. Then, write down how you’ll apply this new understanding in your daily life. A channel called “We Are Jesus Doers” has so many examples of how to study the scriptures in a meaningful way. God bless you!
