In the summer (living in TX) I wear a dress every day outside of work that hits the knee, right above or below (not hard to achieve at 5'2"). There's something so classy about a dress even a sundress and all compliments I receive are always about the look of the dress not the look of my body which I LOVE. I feel confident and feminine in dresses!

I am all about dressing more modest at the moment 😊 So I don't want men to look at me in a sexual way (like they do anyway but I don't want to provoke it unnecessarily) and I talked with my fiancé about what to watch out for. And he said, for most men the things that are getting them are thighs and breasts. So, I am all time and every time trying to not only cover them but also try to not give them too much shape (with very fitted tops or shorts)

I recently bought a “badsuit dress”. I must say I felt like it’s a thing that mostly older people or plus-size people wear, while I’m 22 and slim and it felt kind of weird to wear it too😅 but I’m all over that and my fiancé loved it since it is really modest and covering. So maybe that’s also an idea and you have really nice ones! And for workouts I just go for some nice sweatpants and a shirt that’s breathable and covering, but not hot like cotton😊

I only wear one pieces for my swimming practice. When the swimsuit shows too much cleaveage, I cover it with a long sleeve UV water shirt(?) or surf tees , those make me feel confortable. And yes, I wear my Rosary when I swim.

Why can’t you wear longer things? I’m in Saudi Arabia and THE most comfortable thing to wear here is a long dress or skirt underneath the abayas. Give it a try, it’s actually much more cooling than having skin out frying in the sun! Just make sure the materials are lighter fabrics and loose enough to move around you, it’s like a fan.

Hey Ashley!! I absolutely love you and your love for God. It inspires me to live for God just as much as you do and I LOVE your holy girl clogs and your weekly devos. BUT I need help. I live in Alabama. A normal summer day is upwards of 95 degrees. It’s not reasonable (for a teenage girl like me) to wear a jacket everyday in summer. Especially since I’m active outside on the daily for the most part. So I kinda have two questions. I want YOUR opinion. Do you think it’s okay for me to wear short (ish) shorts and a tank top as my normal clothes? You can wear loose linen or cotton linen blends. Natural fibers are more breathable. You tuck loose linen tops into linen beach style pants and wear pretty Sandals. Look at summer boho styles and even old Italian peasant styles, so many options!
