Leyland also has a good Hino based engine. Only the engine is the main thing. Bus bodybuilding is only tricky. Now they launched becoz requirements of the Market.

Leyland for 13.5mts also it is struggling with 4 cylinder engine with Engine noise and Vibration Now they bought 15m that to Multiaxle where majority power loss done in transmission with same engine configuration Then how it will workout They has to come up with 6 cylinder engine or Has to increase torque with low RPm It is best that upto 280-300Hp 6 cylinder 1100 nm torque at low rpm Air suspension

Ashok Leyland already has 6 cylinder bigger engines with 320 hp ,350 hp ,400 hp ..... They are also planning to put that in 13.5 m chassis as an option like 12 m chassis (200 hp standard) which has an option of 250 hp 4 cylinder Engine.

The tag axle should be behind the pusher axle. This helps better shock absorption also helps to set up rear wheel steering. AL seems to have missed this and has the conventional setup à la B 9R

Honestly looks underpowered.. Just an extension of the 13.5 meter chassis with un steerable axel. Indian companies are not investing much into comfort and efficiency. Just swinging to market demands for extra seats and berth. But that's business. Comparison with Volvo is stupidity. Indian companies are wary of investing in new technologies. In two wheelers, both Bajaj and TVS lacks the technology to develop engine beyond 400cc. Its expensive. In the higher capacity engines, as the risk involved is higher, the manufacturers prefer to go for licencing already successful engines as they are cheaper than developing our own engine.

Ashok Leyland have 320 350 400 and 450 hp engine but 250 hp a series is enough to cruise 80 kmph speed. Currently operators are satisfied because highways are good. For cruising more than 100 then we need 320 or 350 hp A series 6 cylinder 8 liter engine it increases the cost 10 to 15 lacs more than 250 hp

Behind the wheels wale bhaiya ji bhul gaye yah vahi engine hai Jo meri truckon mein Lage Hain aur 36 ton Mal aise leke chalte hain jaise koi khilauna load Ho.. mileage ke sath.. abhi tak 320000 km chala chuka hun apni ek truck Ko ek bar clutch plate change hua hai mujhe nahin lagta ki kahin bhi yah engine fail hoga
