This is a killer song, from 1984, recorded in Cologne Germany, with 32 digital track console. Was voted in the VH 1 Channel as the best metal songs ever, reaching the hottest top 10 chart, back in 2005/2006. Great song, the guitar riff, so powerful. Great reaction, fellas.

You definitely need to watch the music video. It takes the song to another level! What strikes me most about this song is how tough (enter your word here) the lyrics are. Being young when this came out, I didn’t necessarily delve deeply into the words. I was a guitar player who loved the musical aspects of a song. Lyrics weren’t as readily available as they are now. You basically had to buy the LP.

Picture this...You are sitting at the PNC Arena in Raleigh,NC. The lights go dim and someone sounds a storm siren. This song starts blaring over the loud speakers. Out comes the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team skating on the ice. The roar of the crowd is as loud as the music. Love this song and everytime I hear it I can't wait to have that amazing experience again. Thanks for the great reaction to one of my favorite songs.

The "Scorpions" one of my favs, seen them live in the 80's on the "Love Drive" Tour and they opened the show, it was " Scorpions" " Pat Travers" and " Sammy Hagar" what a show, but what sucks is the "Scorpions don't tour anymore and they are a Killer live band in concert, so from what i here is they only play shows in LAS VEGAS, so you will not be sorry, if you saw them before they retire!

I really enjoy watching your education into the Hippy, Hair bands, rock, pop genres of the generations...I think you've noticed that a lot of recent (last 2 decades) music sampled so many of the older songs...music is truly the language of the people no matter what generation or genre you are listening to. It's one of the big things we ALL have in common no matter color, age, gender identity, religion or political views that we have in common...music that hits us a certain way...speaks to us...gets us in our feels!

"Still Loving You" "Send Me An Angel" "Wind Of Change" "Always Somewhere" "Bed Of Roses" "She's Gone" "Livin' On Prayer" "(Everything I do) I Do It For You" "The Zoo" "Big City Nights" "I'm Leaving You" "Coming Home" "Tease Me Please Me" "Lonely Night" "When The Smoke Is Going Down" "Believe In Love" "You And I" Have fun! About 4 months ago, they released some new songs: "Rock Believer" "When You Know (Where You Come From)" and "Seventh Sun."

Fun Fact: The composition done by the lead guitar player, Matthias Jabs, at that time, was very complex and many guitar players tried to do the solo, but couldn't. Of course, nowadays, guitar playing is so advanced, that it's no longer a problem playing it. Jump into more of their stuff of course as Scorpions were once upon a time, an incredible band to watch LIVE.

Their 1st album came out in 1972 & their 1st guitarist (Michael Schenker) was 16 He's my favorite guitarists. He left to go to UFO (and that's when Uli Jon Roth joined Scorps) His brother is also in Scorpions, & he went back to help them with their Lovedrive album (you should hear Holiday) but then left again (that's when they kept this guitarist Matthias Jabs permanently). Anyway, he's 67 & on tour now & looks like he's having fun. He influenced so many guitarists (metallica, megadeath, pantera, randy rhoads, def leppard, and a ton others). UFO's Strangers In the Night is considered as one of the best (some say the best) live albums recorded. Give yourself about 10-12 minutes or so & listed to Rock Bottom from that album- no video, but he's amazing to watch on Lost Horizons live in 84. Michael Schenker Group is not meant for vocals, it's all just him. lol.

I saw them live at The King Dome in Seattle, WA in the early 90’s. It was during ‘Monsters of Rock’ and Metallica were there as well. This is one of the first songs I learned how to play on guitar. Sadly though, I was not playing a Gibson Explorer or Flying V (which is what these guys are playing). No... I was playing a sad old Korean generic electric guitar hooked up to dads Kenwood home stereo. Just not the same sound. LOL. Parents!! IF you expect your kids to enjoy learning instruments ... People give the 80s shit for being cheesy and simplistic but the writing was much better back then. Today groups and artists can say anything they want no matter how out there and direct it is. There's even a song by some female rapper I hear in the clubs I work where she literally talks about pisding on a dude. Back then artist had to constantly come up with new ways and different euphemisms to talk about sex acts and organs. That was much more difficult and took much more talent. "Give her inches and feed her well" is one of my favorite lyrics of all time.
