Dimash is from Kazakhstan. His ethnicity is Eurasian. He began is classical/operatic vocal training at age 5 and has a 6+ octave range. This video is a bit older, and he will be 27 May 24th. He is tall at 6'3" and is also a model, multi instrumentalist. He has had well over 20 years of vocal and instrument training. This performance is barely touching the tip of his abilities. He is a huge Michael Jackson fan and you find him singing MJ music, to folk songs of his home land to rap to opera.... He is totally dedicated to his crafts and loves to entertain. He is quick to say the he is not perfect and once his voice briefly failed him while on stage and he adjusted to another note which is a D8. A note higher than the piano goes.

I first heard Dimash over 18 months ago, just flicking through videos on fb .... I heard one note of SOS and that was it... didn't know what he was singing but every hair on my body reacted . At the age of 5 , it was discovered that he has perfect pitch. His parents are singers, his mom is a Soprano. When he was very young , kids made fun of him because he sang very high and they associated him with a girl. He worked very hard to improve his lower register and what those bullies did was only to make Dimash angry and he developed his lower register like no other ! If you want to listen to Dimash's most powerful song that is Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert. The song is full operatic but not boring opera..it's something that only Dimash can come up with. After being a Dear for four years, my first thought is that he looks so young here. He was only 22. He's almost 27 now, and believe it or not his vocals have gotten even better. He continues to study to this day. The first time most of us heard him do this was on Singer, a Chinese singing competition for professional singers. I prefer that version because it was a more intimate venue, the performance was heartbreaking, people were crying in the audience, and because we watched ALL of China fall in love with this young man after only one song. Kazakh language courses filled up, every TV program in China wanted him as a guest, and every time he performed in Kazakhstan, the audience was half full of Chinese fans who flew over just to see him. It was like the early years of Beatlemania. In the 4+ years since, he has never once let us down. I can't wait for you to get to Ogni Pietra, but you can react to anything he does. They're all too astonishing for words. I subscribed immediately. It was great to hear a fun and knowledgeable reaction. His register changes really ARE kinda hard to believe, aren't they? Dimash is moving to the US later this year for his Doctorate studies in Musicology and of course to become more well known in the West. He had a sell out debut concert at the Barclay Centre New York in December 2019 which was a great success (all his full concerts are on KZbin, which are absolutely amazing)! The song you just listened to was in 2018, you should hear how much he’s improved now! He sang this song at the US Presidential inauguration in January. It’s probably 10 times better than this performance, if you can believe that! He is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time. You have probably seen about 5% of what he can do up to now! He sings in all genres and every performance will amaze and surprise you! He’s also a great composer and arranger! A multi instrumentalist (7 instruments) and he’s excellent at playing all of them! Dimash started formal training at age 5, and has trained for at least 3 hours every day since then. He's now 27. He's 6'3" tall, and the wonderful personality within, shines through that handsome, sweet-natured good looks. His big break-out song was this very performance you are watching here, "SOS." He sang it in a competition that was broadcast over national radio in China. He went back to his hotel room that night a singer, and woke up that next morning a star. When he went to get himself some coffee that morning, he found that two big, strong guys fell into step with him, and when he looked up in surprise, one of them explained that from now on, he would not go out without protection. He was an overnight sensation. Of course, he had been preparing for 20 years to achieve that "overnight" success.

And immediately after this song they performed the aliens from the movie "The Fifth Element" and Dimash showed the note D8. In fact, the range of Dimash's voice is from deep bass to the highest soprano. Dimash really has a higher musical education in classical vocals and modern singing, and plays six musical instruments. Indeed, he started singing at the age of five, and his parents are opera singers. He has a huge number of fans, whom he calls "Dear", he speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian quite fluently. Dimash loves his family very much and they also love him. He is a very kind and honest person, often does things that people do not expect - just out of kindness. The most revealing: during the "Best in the World" contest, when he learned that he would have to compete with young singers in the final selection, he simply refused to participate - he said that he should give children the opportunity to take the first step in their careers.

Dimash lost his voice the day before he was about to perform "Daybreak" on the Chinese show "The Singer." However he still managed to get through the song, but apparently lost his voice again shortly after his performance. Dimash is from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is everything....bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor PLUS all sopranos. Not only he can do all these......he is powerful and fully supported in all areas too.....which puts him in different level altogether because it is extremely rare.

Forget what you have heard and learn till now. There's no boundaries for a singer. For any singer. This is a product of good genes, dedication, hard work and the best & right teachers... Demands diary high training nothing more. Dimash is an high vocal athlete like those prima ballerinas or those trained for the Olympics. So relax, look closely, sit back and see some more because you haven't seen nothing yet.... LOL Oohh!!... by the way... start by some videos back in 2017 on "I'm a singer" contest in China so you can appreciate better he's evolution. Go wikipedia or google "best voice in the world"... That was in 2018. Each song Dimash Qudaibergen performs is a lesson of "how to sing" and act on stage, to all the singers and coaches of the world... (that's a fact). He's 26 now and sings since was 5, academically well trained in classical and contemporaneous music and reach perfectly (perfect pitch) from bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor till all the sopranos voices... He plays piano, plus 5 instruments, composes, writes and produces. He performs more them 150 different songs in his historical. His fans are known has Dears and you'll read some of them, just ask. He's from Kazakhistan , sings in 12 and speaks 3 languages. Very wised, educated, patriot and very humble. Well known in more then 140 countries, doesn't look for a label, neither for money... he has his own production company. Why he's not played on the radio?? only recently he recorded his first CD, sold out in less them 40 sec. so... Has it's own FB oficial page, YT, Instagram and TicToc. Planing to go other platforms... Great first reaction to Dimash. It’s a mind blower. We Dears ( fans) have been listening for 4 yrs now and are still captivated and adore this talented young man. There is more to experience and I hope you will continue to listen. Dimash has his own genre....so it requires getting out of ones usual comfort zone and taking a trip through different dimensions. He comes from Kazakhstan and brings much of his culture with him which makes for an interesting mix of traditional and contemporary. Thanks for your intelligent and honest response. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

He studied classical & contemporary (jazz, pop, etc) since age 5, got his Master’s Degree in Composition & is studying for his Doctorate. He’s incredible & can sing anything in any genre & even raps.
