Hey! I think you missed the obvious use for cruisers. Think how excellent it would be to eyeball your anchor set? Rock on y’all!

Can you one hand it easily while you pinch your nose to equalize pressure?

Interesting concept. At 35lbs thrust it is comparable to lower power electric trolling motors by major manufacturers. A 100ah 12v bat would last a few hrs with a 35lb thrust trolling motor, but I suspect maybe 20-30 mins with this unit's battery at full power. A thought- with inclusion of a transom bracket, this unit could serve as backup dinghy propulsion motor, giving it a 3rd use and additional set of possible purchasers. Adding a waterproof electric port on unit and 4' cable with battery terminal clamps would allow a 12v bat in dinghy to provide power for longer trips at full power. This assumes motor and battery in unit are 12v. If the unit's battery is higher than 12v, an inexpensive DC boost converter would work. If the unit's battery is lithium based, the boost converter's max voltage would need to be a bit below max voltage of unit's battery and include a charge/power input cut off. Some type of similar cut off needed if unit's battery is 12v. Just some musings

Kgf is the force in kg. Multiply by 2.2 to get it in lbf.
