My year 3's loved this interview straight from a expert! To see and hear through video was inspiring for students (the way Dr Pirotta makes it at a level they can understand is great) and excellent learning for their information reports. Can whales rescue people

There are a number of instances recorded where whales (and also dolphins) have saved people from dangerous situations. They, in fact, do it with a number of animals, particularly against predators!
