Tacstar's Shotgun Rail Mount is designed to fit standard 1" diameter magazine extensions and allows for easy mounting of tactical lights and/or lasers. Ultra-rigid, this innovative lightweight aluminum unit straddles both sides of the receiver and is crafted with a non-glare anodized finish. The top Picatinny rail can mount a variety of accessories, yet is designed to sit just high enough to allow continued use of the shotgun's bead sight.

I bought a TacStar 6 Rd side saddle a year or so ago and ended up losing the screws. I called you guys and you were too kind in sending me a free set but the thread pattern is different on the one i had versus the screws you sent me. Did you guys change the thread pattern? I just hate buying a new one when I have an un-used one here. I'd even buy the screws. Can you help guide me in the right direction? Thanks, love your products.

doesn't clear the forend, therefore you cannot pull it all the way back rendering it useless

Yup I just tried installing this weekend and forend won't rack all the way back because shell holder blocks it

Great video. It installed perfectly on my 870. I have the SGA Magpul stock and Magpul forend and there's no issues with clearance. I added a red dot (I know you don't need one on a shotgun blah blah) but, the sight is significantly higher in order to acquire my target. I then ordered the Magpul Cheek Riser, and even with the high cheek riser, it's still probably 0.5" too low. Anyway, it's not that big a difference. Good product for the price.

It's a raised picatinny rail, not a low profile rail.

Right? I just installed it and it won't fully rack back to cycle. I'm replacing the front grip anyhow, gonna have to do some dremel modification to the grip so it can sneak underneath the saddle.

@@kstnflip360 so losen the screws up until the pump action is smooth. use loctite and re-tighten to where it is just the right tightness where the gun will cycle. i did this like 15yrs ago and have not had a single problem

if you over tighten the mounting screws it will pinch the receiver and your action will bind up big time. remember the screws replaced pins, the pins added zero pressure to the receiver housing

Joe, just got one from Amazon. I installed the rear pin without problem, however for the front pin, I can only put one end inside, can not push another end in, should I force it in? Thanks.

You should never force anything in. Could potentially damage your firearm or your product. Sometimes however you just gotta put a lil elbow grease into to it. But absolutely don't force it. Hope this helps

I have that same forend and shell holder blocks the forend halfway back. Can't rack all the way. It does work with the other squared off forend they have😮‍💨
