Scrolling through your site I just realized that the man, the legend, Persolaise himself has never reviewed one of the most legendary florals possibly only behind en passant, one of the most legendary artisan scents ever, possibly the most acclaimed Anne flipo composition ever, La chasse aux papillons which by the way also got its extreme flanker alongside passage d’enfer…. Mr persolaise if you truly haven’t reviewed or smelled it, you absolutely need to give us fans your thoughts on it, I bet that most habitual fans are familiar with the scent! My question is: when do you foresee the gourmand, food recipe sounding perfumes, trend would start to die off? And yes everything related to reviews by influencers for me now serves as entertainment in the background, with very few exceptions (including your channel) that I watch with intent and attention.

Raspberry jam (anything with raspberry) helps relieve cold symptoms. Regarding your question concerning the perfume reviews bubble, I dare to say that, as with financial bubbles, the core issue is not AI but human greed. Once human ambitions exceed the capabilities that may support these ambitions, the inflated bubble of unsubstantiated claims bursts.

In the era of almost everyone around me getting Temu packages once a week full of glittery straws, 15 cent flip flops, Halloween themed pillow cases and doormats, I think expecting some sort to critical thinking regarding influencing would be wild. The tragic part is that some of them are aware, they just don't care. They want things, and they want the "confirmed" ones. Nothing better than the appealing average AI face with trendy clothes and a big following. Nobody wants to hear about your dusty Nahema (sarcasm).

About AI influencers- I don’t see why anyone would bother following that. Surely if you follow someone who takes photos/videos of perfume, or does reviews or writes about perfume you follow them for personality. You might share tastes of perfume, you might admire how they take photos/videos, you trust opinions or you like how they describe something. Then there is trust. If you are more likely to go sample or heaven forbid blind buy a perfume from someone’s post it’s because you trust them. Yes there’s clearly some people who share content in whatever form who have been asked to be positive. I think a lot of people know and spot when something is clearly not 100% their opinion. But I dunno you like their personality or images but just have it in the back of your mind that it might or probably is just hype that’s been paid for. I just cannot see how you could trust AI, where’s the personality, or that human touch of images that don’t always look perfect, or words that lack some emotion/real connection and consideration. Hugely put off by AI (and I work in tech) but then I’m also put off photos that are so heavily altered in photoshop! 😂 Congrats on the 25k. Had Covid last week myself. Maybe get yourself a pot noodle and a bag of monster munch to help heal the bad lurgy!!

I’m so sorry to say this, but many people just aren’t that smart. Even people I would consider pretty intelligent seem to fall for influencer marketing. They don’t question the content of reviews even when the creator states that they are sponsored. It’s bizarre!! I’ve pointed out the fact that they people are biased, even often contractually obligated to provide good reviews, and the concept seems to entirely escape them! It’s so frustrating. Regarding AI, I can’t tell you how often I see people miss that they are looking at something AI generated, even though there are obvious indicators. Those red flags will, of course, become subtler and subtler over time, which is a whole separate can of worms..

35:22 AI can help adjust for the natural bias that is present in human experts (such as you). If that is the scope and purpose of AI, it may be an interesting thing. But when people deploy AI to insert sponsored opinions, it is clearly undesirable.
