I'm ok with the thought of dying and not existing anymore, as i see it, I will be in exactly the same state I was in before my parents had sex that created me.. in that, i did not exist. Human purpose and meaning are things we find in the here and now. I see no evidence of an after life. It comes down to frequency, fabrics have frequencies low and high. When you're putting two positives together, you will make a negative. And it harms on the body. If you have one fabric like.... linen, you will have a frequency of 5,000, that's healing you.mix wool and linen no good. They used to use linen in hospital beds to promote healing. Not anymore. Everything is at a low frequency like polyester.... other words, plastic.

Yes. I have started a new job and I have conversations with Christian’s there. Many wrongly believe that Christianity is about listening to the Bible and following the commandments. Well that’s part of it. But most importantly, it’s about loving God. Which means having a relationship with Him, just as you said. People try to use the “religion is used to control people” card. That doesn’t work on me. Because I know better. I know that God is real because of my relationship with Him. He loves me not because of what I have done, but because He is gracious and merciful. People here are in conflict with their flesh. Their fighting against the word of God and it makes their demons turn inside of them. That’s why people are always so combative and uncomfortable when speaking about things of our Lord. It’s not them, it’s their flesh. God bless you

@@tonybasoni8443 Well to be fair your magic book is a bit ...... how can I put it 🤔 Absurd . After I read it I came to the conclusion either there is no god and these myths are exactly that myths or you have a god that's claimed wishes to have a relationship with his creation. He wants us to live our lives in a certain way with regard to morals , worshipers ect. This god think that the best way to convey this vital message to us is via a book of scriptures. This book he knows will reach me as copies of translations of copies of translations of an original oral tradition. And to all intensive purposes will appear to be the myths and beliefs of ignorant superstitious primative tribesmen, just like all the thousands of others. This book will contain testimonies that are unsigned, for the most part hearsay and written by we dont know who. It will contains talking snakes and talking donkeys giants witches magic and zombies. It will appear to some to have questionable ethics with regard to endorsement of slavery infanticide genocide ect. This book will also disagree with science on many different subjects like origins and age of the earth , how the diversity of life came about basic cosmology ect ect. The hero of this book will appear to be very similar to all the other proposed demigods born of virgins from earlier pagan deities, and will be serving a very specific purpose vicarious redemption ( or scapegoating) a practice that apears to be an imoral concept in itself .And a form of which , was already being practiced in the area. Anyway god seemingly thinks that the best way for him to be able to forgive man, for breaking rules that god knew in advance that they would break when he made those rules. Is to send a version of himself down to earth then sacrifice himself to himself. Thus preventing his need to punish his creations for something their ancestors did before they knew the difference between right and wrong. 🤔 ☝️☝️ I mean just actually think about that for a minute 🤔🤔🤔 Our hero and the stories about him though are not for everyone as this god is predominantly concerned about one particular tribe of people called jews and one little area of the Mediterranean. The aborigines, Asians ect dont seem to important. He has also created a place of eternal torture for people who are unconvinced by his book. Even though belief is not a choice as you are either convinced of something or unconvinced, and it is generaly evidence that convinces I personally could not just choose to believe in tinkerbell because that belief offers rewards , no matter how much I just closed my eyes and stamped my feet. And if I am unable to see through all of the above and conclude that jehovah is the explanation for reality as I see it , then I'm deservingly sent off to hell. *No offence my friend but regardless of whether such a god exists or not I'm being entirely rational and justified in my current position as an atheist*

Psalm 139: 13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

@Our Savior Of course the Bible is going to claim it as "the correct religion" and claim other belief systems as "having false gods". That doesn't make it literally factual.

@@jdddyyy1 True! Ultimately, no one really knows what the "truth" is. One of these might be right. None of them could be right. But what's most important is that people be wise....be good and caring...not selfish...have empathy. That will go a long way in making the world better. 🙂

Beautiful campus. The first guy asked about "Death" tatoos. The subject of the subject of tatoos was the issue. It raises questions of things even like some songs or musicians like some Heavy Metal or Rap with images of skulls and so on. Cliffe uses context for the OT, which is based on a full awareness up into the present. The present, however, in Jesus´ actual legacy, has been set up by the influence of Christians, and so the meaning of Jesus vs. other religions has shifted. Christian spiritual-religious specialist monks developed practices that converged with learning in monastic schools (since at least Cassiodorus, but even earlier already than Justin Martyr, et al). By the founding of Universities and the appearance of the monk T Aquinas, student of Albertus Magnus, Aquinas´ insights into empirical metaphysics laid the foundation for modern knowledge with empirical and other methods. Ancient Greek philosophy´s amazing accomplishments were thus shifted. The spiritual-religious orientation of Socrates et al, not anti-spiritual materialist, however, in modern times been fragmented and widely overtaken and even manipulated by ideological materialists. Thus, church doctrinalists have their own forms of motivations based on membership, and in conservative theology funded by profiteering businesspeople, exclusive credal doctrines, not loving and inclusive ones. Thus, Jesus´ teachings to "go and learn..." and "clean the cup on the inside..." have Christian-secular endogenous psychology and the full scope of endogenous University-based education to draw on, including Comparative Religious studies. The Buddha, then, now also in Jesus´ extended legacy of University-based democratic Civil Rights and UN human rights, provides a rich insight, diversified in Buddhism´s sects, with his central Four Noble Truths, even with any teachings which can be falsified, like the "doctrine of the non-existence of the self." Jesus´ legacy affirms the caring love of self, and has in University-based knowledge the logical tools of refuting the analogy of the self to a house. Houses, the analogy goes, don´t exist because they are compounded from component parts. Buddha mistook his perception of interconnectedness and other psychological cultural issues in that case. A fallacy that doesn´t go so far as to invalidate the ample wisdom Buddhism demonstrates. Christianity, for its part, has demonstrated its own ample shortcomings and needs for interfaith learning to improve loving God, neighbor, and self, etc. I would love to offer my services in conjunction with Cliffe´s approach to valuing Jesus so assertively, as a result. Except even more broadly in the interfaith Christianity that has allowed me to integrate and reclaim the supernatural, Jesus´ integrity, and so on with the meaning of University-based education and more. The young woman then is saying people don´t need to believe in God to be good, and then asks who´s interpreting. Cliffe allows for anybody´s doing good, and as for being good, goes for conscience, ie evolved moral capacity. One thing about atheists, or not believing in God, also goes to modern society and how it got set up. Atheists are still free riding on the system that has been set up, which isn´t based on pagan ancient Greece and Rome. It´s in Jesus´ legacy, to emphasize the integrity part, and open up for the human animal biological tendencies of hypocrisy.

Depends on which science in question. Sociology is the study of human behavior. I'd like to hear what people would claim as an objective moral, and _why_ it is purely objective, without any subjective reasoning.
@peterberr38882 жыл бұрын
Objective or absolute moral rules? Or objective moral values? Values drive behaviour (what does a person consider of value), which may be dictated by rules (do's and dont's). An objective rule exists independent of a human mind. Not to be mistaken with absolute moral rules, which are rules that state an action ought to be done with no exceptions. Which are you interested in?
@DRayL_2 жыл бұрын
@@peterberr3888 Anything that can't also be considered using subjective reasoning. I ask because people attempt to promote "a moral standard"...that being their specific "god", of course, but I've not see documentation for such claims. I think we all know the danger of "an absolute 'moral' rule"...based upon the supposed power of that which insists upon it.

@@peterberr3888 And how do you know there is such a rule?
@peterberr38882 жыл бұрын
@colinmatts I am not sure about absolute moral rules as absolute rules have exceptions. Which is why i asked for clarification. I am also suspicious of subjective moral values that are creatively imagined by an individual. But I am quite sure the Lord has given us all the ability to value Right and Wrong, to value and take action on a moral duty when called. To sense His objective moral values.

@@peterberr3888 Values are NOT _"dictated by rules"_ ( do's & don'ts) Our Values become our moral reference from which we then derive our oughts which in turn leads to our rules ( do's & don'ts) So for example my values are human wellbeing, empathy, respect and equality. Therefore I refer to them when assessing moral decisions or dilemmas. The percieved whims of someone’s imaginary friend plays no part in my deliberations.

It's amazing, the confidence these typa fools can express serious judgements, opinions and rationalities about life without acknowledging their own bias instilled. It's a severe lack of critical thinking to the point where it's impossible to argue because the premises cannot lead to the conclusions deemed. It's one thing to disagree on the premises but you can't even equate their beliefs if you take their premises at face value. There's no linear or logical way to get where he is taking you. They can repeat a narrative so many times and so engrain it in their mindset that....I'm just impressed by the insanity, I guess To everyone watching this that actually sees this as a smart way to think, I'm so sorry. Where you learn up is down, down is up, right is left, left is right, black is white, white is black, right is wrong, wrong is right, lies are truth, truth is lies, and good is evil and evil is good.
