Give Me An Answer with Stuart & Cliffe Knechtle

Күн бұрын

Cliffe Knechtle has a good dialogue with students at Texas State University. Recorded in November 2012.
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Have you ever seen something come from nothing? He replies :but mum what about the finches with long beeks and short beeks. His mom: what about them.. Aren't they still birds.. Him: well....... Yeah they are. Mom: hurry up and get to Bible study before I get my belt.. And tomorrow I'm coming to your school , give your teacher a piece of my mind.. What on earth are they teaching you there. Him: aww but mum your going to embarrass me... I'm really popular with the other atheist kids. 😂

This is why I can't be an atheist. To be an honest true full blood aithiest you have to deny the existence of real love, truth, and logic. Believing God created everything is way more logical than believing everything happened by chance for no reason.

@@walterdaems57 its easy to poke fun of anything like that, but if you actually check the modern day facts, even science points to a Creator. Pair that with the historical facts on Jesus, and its obvious why more and more logical thinkers are coming around to some form of Christianity or at least perceive Jesus as Christ. Generally you have to read these kinds of things, but if you don't know where to start, I have a video I found on KZbin that covers a lot of basic things that point to the existence of a Creator, but it's a bit dramatic, long, and isn't as accurate as scholarly articles, so i suggest using it as a guide of what to research 😊 cheers! 💕 *Edit: Ill just leave the link here incase I dont notice a response, Im not really a social media person; kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJqwoq2ElL6Gjrc

I find that too many individuals, religious and secular, are often looking to be offended. Instead, they need to carefully listen to a speaker and draw out the beneficial items and discard the useless ones.....in true sincerity, not in self-righteousness of the echo-chamber. If you are overweight and therefore unhealthy individual and someone tells in a mean manner that your fat butt needs to stop eating so much food and exercise, focus on the benefit of the message and do your best to set aside the meaness in the person saying such words. You will see that after a year of constant hard will working at eating healthy and exercising, your body and soul will be rejuvenated, then you will than yourself for listening carefully to the mean person who spoke those initial words.....maybe even thank the individual for it....silently in your head. Let's all look for Peace in our lifes as opposed to self-indulging happiness that in true reality is harming us to the core.

This kid thinks that a rock rolling around in the waves on a beach could write the words "John loves Mary???" That is incredibly idiotic: Semiotic messages always necessitate input from an intelligent person. This is the case for a short message like "John loves Mary," and it is also the case for the amazingly complex semiotic messages contained in the DNA/RNA of every life-form on the planet.

People make Atheism a cultural ethic because people are built with a sense of guilt when they do something wrong. As soon as this guilt becomes so undesirable and uncomfortable that you see it as your greatest burden, instead of a motivation for improvement, then you build the idea of your own guilt free standard that actively accuses all other standards and ideals that might cause you guilt. The most common standard of ideals is the rational Creator God and so the guilt free idea targets this in the form of Atheism.

Just because something possibly can happen, doesn't mean it is statically possible (words in the sand). Let's say DNA nucleotides can miracally appear, it is still almost impossible for it to construct sensible information. Look at a deck of cards, you can shuffle them in 8 x 10^64 different ways, there is only 3 x 10^16 seconds in a billion years. Assuming you can shuffle each deck uniquely every second, it would still take you 2.6 x 10^28 billion years. And that is with a simple deck of cards.

3 sets of the same book contains the same information as one of that book, unless you account for the small chance differences, but in that case one book has much more information than my dna

The Idea that your actions is better than using words to relay to Gospel is the biggest weed in the Gospel garden. It is both arrogant and foolish to think the way you live your life other than how Christ did is will bring people to God better than the spoken words of the Gospel. It stems from the old silly statement. "Always preach the Gospel and when necessary use words." Bad Idea!
