Man growing up in a Christian household and having a good relationship with Christ from an early age I really had no idea just how big the pond is where there are all these bigger christian fish everywhere. They have all this knowledge from history, philosophy, theology, and science. I meet people older and younger than me that know so much more. Some days I feel like I should be doing more. Other days I feel like my walk with God is going great. Then I have times where I meet older and younger christians that don't understand as much. I guess thats when you really get that perspective that you yourself are not the focus of this world. Everyone has varying degrees of understanding, knowledge, faith, and wisdom. As long as they are walking with Christ what little they have will be used and they have the most to gain in God's glory. Likewise those with great to give will also gain much in the same way. I understand that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made; if I waste my time comparing my contributions to the likes of such great apologists such as yourself then I gain nothing. Something I always find interesting is when people say they cant put in Christ because they didnt see Him risen from the grave or there isn't enough evidence. In reality we live our entire lives in pursuit of things we can't see like love, happiness, justice, peace, mental stability, etc and IN FAITH, we make decisions in pursuit of these things with little to no evidence that our choices will actually get us what we want.

It is a historically reliable book with supporting archaelogical evidence that contains real people in real places engaging in real events. Mythology is not written that way. We have other 5200 manuscripts for the New Testament, no other writing in ancient history even comes close. Again, mythology does not read the same way the Bible reads. I strongly disagree with you that we have surpassed the moral code that Christ taught about, especially here in America. How many people do you know that don't lust after men and women in their minds?...... Lets move on The bible was not written by God it was written by people, just like every other book we have. I would encourage you to read the Gospels and study them for yourself. I really love the way you quoted John 11:25-26 without citing it. 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” It is my sincere belief that if the young men who find so much fault in the concept of God and Jesus could understand this scripture and John 3 as well, they would no longer have any doubts. I love watching this show. Call me a pacifier but the scriptures, (New Testament) show me that nobody picked up arms. We know peter did but was rebuked. God said vengence is mine. There's something in a man who fully trusts God in the midst of danger, even unto death. I mean all the disciples probably witnessed each other being martyrd. They did not raise up armys and go to war. Peace is a fruit of the spirit. Where is the fruit in taking another mans life. We are suppose to love our enemies, do good things to them. Where is the love when you are prepared to take his life and potentially send him to hell. I'd rather speak truth and love and possibly save him from eternal damnation and suffering, enemy or not.

Also women are allowed those things. Many people misinterpret the Bible saying that women arent allowed those things, but they forget who Paul was writing to in that letter. My thought is…. Prophet Isaiah has spoken about the coming of Christ very early, and Jews have known and been waiting for the messiah for ages. On the other hand gentiles know nothing about Christ. So Jesus said I’m here for God’s lost sheep, the Jews, because they were expecting him to save them. They knew who their savior is and they were waiting on him. - For those who knew they would be judged based on what they know. - That is why Jesus came and only stayed in Israel/ Mediterranean area as opposed to traveling the world, because the world doesn’t know him. However, because the Jews refused to accept him, then we the gentiles were given a chance to know him. That’s why Jesus said a prophet won’t be respected in his own town. Jesus said he was going back to Heaven to prepare a place for us that is one of the reasons why he didn't stay longer. He didn't have to perform anymore miracles after his death because of two reasons one seeing him alive is the BIGGEST miracle he did and going around to those 500 witnesses was all he had to do to show that. The second reason is because he told his disciples they will receive the holy spirit and be able to do what he can do including resurrecting the dead. So Jesus didn't have to go around the world for miracles to continue that's why he sent his disciples to keep spreading the news to the world.
