How is it going?
@censacrof11 ай бұрын
@@marcmarc406 I completed AFF, I didn't even have to repeat any jump. After that I did a few jumps on my own, and then I stopped. I'm not sure why. I'm trying to understand If I want to start jumping again but I'm very conflicted. Anyway, awesome experience, I learned a lot about myself doing it, would do it again.

👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you ;) (Finished my AFF since my question, and it was lot of stress but now I’m having a lot of fun. Can’t wait to progress in the sport ! 🤗) Edit : the wind tunnel helped me a lot knowing I can be rock solid stable even before climbing in the plane.

I'm personally still afraid of heights, I only have 10 jumps under my belt so far though. My first AFF jump was the scariest by far in the plane, once in the door I was completely at ease. I overthink things a lot, and skydiving has shown me sometimes being wrong is the most amazing thing. I had/have things I had to get right in my life, but this year I'll make it onto solo. I love it more than anything Ive ever experienced, and met some of the greatest people too.

Hey, Sal! Love your videos. I started following your channel with the "how to pack" video. Loved it. I'm an A license Skydiver (almost getting my B license) and would love to see a video talking about how to understand better the Jump Run. I know it's a more "technical" content but I do appreciate your way of explaining stuff. Don't know if it would be cool to have a DeLand pilot on it or whatever, but it would be nice to understand better. Thank you for sharing such amazing videos and inspiring content. You Rock, Bro! P.S: saw one of the amazing skydivers from Brazil on one of your videos (he's a freefly coach, AFF instructor and all here in our main DZ from São Paulo - National Parachute Center in Boituva) he's known as Cotô! Great guy! Anyways! Thanks for the reply on the KZbin comments and for being such an amazing human! Cheers
@SalvadorChangg3 жыл бұрын
I may consider that for a future video, but in my opinion it’s simple. The plane flys into the wind. the jump run is drawn up everyday and posted at manifest. It’s the planes path to give the jumpers the greatest chance of landing in the landing area. Love Coto, dudes a ripper and extremely humble. I had no idea he was such a big deal but a bunch of people have recognized him! Representing Brazil!
@canaldophillmotta3 жыл бұрын
@@SalvadorChangg thanks, Bro! That's it. I was just wondering if there's an easy way to identify early on the ground (without the manifest info) the possible jump run. As I'm new to the sport and the responsibilities increases as you progress I'm always observing the operation to try and make more sense of it. Like make a good spot at the door and be more aware of the situation as a whole. Thanks for replying, man! Yeah! Coto is a great guy and sure is a big deal in the sport. And the fact that he's really professional and also a great guy, humble and generous with everyone makes him even more special. Cheers Bro! Blue Skies. YEEEY! 🤘⚡🪂

I only got 17 jumps so far. After the winter break and 6 months without jumping I've saved enough money for summer. I'm not gonna lie, i'm a bit anxious but the excitment takes over. To make sure I didn't forget everything I did 6 min of indoor, to my surprise I wasn'"t totally trash x) good enough to open safely I guess. When the door will open, my brain will hate myself but i'll just take the leap and enjoy what comes next. I agree it's important to overcome your fear and when you do, it will so great guys.

@@SalvadorChangg kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGbIiWWwq6tjidU That was skydive Texas ranch in Decatur they closed in 2001 after Tom Bishop crashed a plane then on January 5 2002 his 15 yr old son Charles Bishop stole a Cessna from a flight school in Florida and crashed into the bank of America in Tampa I think . He was talking medicine for clear skin and pimples and it made him kill himself so they never opened back up again

Ways to overcome fear 1. Look at it like you're jumping into water 2. A parachute is more reliable than a airplane no fuel required no moving parts . 3. Believe it'll go smoothly 4. Remember there's no such thing as a perfectly good airplane and get out of the damn thing 5. Be more afraid of chickening out and how you'll feel about yourself .if you don't do it . 6.believe you can fly 7. True happiness is that moment right before you pull your ripcord 8. Remember God puts fear between you and the best things in life 9. Know this all your fears leave once you're out of the plane and that's a fact. 10 . I was dead for billions of years before I was born and it didn't effect me in the least 😁 ( joking ) you're not going to die from skydiving . A car wreck is much more likely
